we live in great Britain or the united kingdom or England N Ireland Wales Scotland or any of the islands making up all of the previous including the channel islands. should you be a migrant worker as opposed to a citizen of all the former then you need only to be here to work and you are welcome. So that basically leaves those that choose to live here as citizens be they any colour of the rainbow, race or creed that have chosen to come here be born here or who have ancestry going back thousands of years. We [ generalization ] all have ancestors going back to various stages of history [ we all have history ] Romans Egyptians [lot of interbreeding back then! … Normans Vikings … etc etc THERE IS HARDLY A RACE IN THE WORLD THAT HAS NOT BEEN SUBJECT TO SLAVERY somewhere in their ancestry. so if you or your ancesters chose to make Britain [UK] their home then they should accept the history and traditions of Great Britain [UK] without prejudice … their is over 300 countries in the world if you do not like this one then feel free to move on... likely you wont be missed as more deserving people can take your place...…………..
It works for the Australians who openly say to those successfully seeking immigration. 'You're welcome to come and live here in peace whoever you may be, BUT understand that you do so under OUR rules, not yours'. And there is an awful lot to be said for it too.
I pay £157.50 for the privilege of not watching their output. i barely watch it for days on end weeks even because its output has little interest to me. i as a labour voter actually dont want left wing views being rammed down my throat from tv that is supposed to be apolitical. abolishing the licence would be fairer and then the BBC can be as pro left, pro remain, pro BLM, pro so called diversity and pro LBTGQ as it likes and make its way as other businesses have to.

I am beginning to believe there is a distinction between Black lives and Black Lives ….. the good and the bad … the vast majority, and I mean vast majority are law abiding intent on making their lives as comfortable as possible by working hard, blending in, integrating, and improving the society they live in … the infinitestably small proportion want only what they don't have to work for, get for free or acquire from others and the attitude is is fingers up to law...stay out of my face …. research is very difficult on crime in the USA … but it seems for a minority of the population "non white" people are responsible for the greater part of crime? … especially where weapons are concerned whether guns or blades.
there seems to be an element of the younger generation that has lost its direction ..grasping at straws or maybe it the weaker following the herd? not heard a lot about the 15 arrests made regarding poor old EC !

Research shows that white people are the highest percentage of all serial killers. You can twist it both ways. Research shows most non whites (as you put it) live in the poorest areas. Therefore living in a dog eat dog society. So is that right?
The real problem as with this many other ill's in the world, the only way to come anywhere close to solving it is to have everything on the table for discussion, like black gang/drug/knife/gun culture. The other problem is white middle class liberals deciding what is and isn't racist.

A member of patriot prayer a pro Trump organisation was identified in the street in Portland. "we got a Trumper right here". He was shot dead. Assassinated. In a City that has seen months of BLM frequently violent protest.
So why the outrage then at that but not the tons of black people who have been shot dead by the police in the US? I've had a very busy week and not done any more reading on this at all by the way, so by my own admission I'm not bringing anything extra to the table, more playing devils advocate here really. But for as much as you criticise BLM supporters for not applying criticism consistently, are you not now doing the exact same in the opposite direction? Murdering anyone is horrendous, of course, but if someone was to call out the uproar over 1 Trump supporter being shot dead versus hundreds of black people being shot dead over the years, I think they have a bit of a point. Is that not inherently racist in itself?
US election fever is also clouding some of the issues here and everyone is trying to put political angles on literally everything, but Trump also seems to have quite a few black supporters. As a neutral here, I also have to say that at 77 years old and this is just in my opinion of course, that Joe Biden is way too old to be running for President and that could come back and haunt the democrats come November. The way the college votes work in America means that Trump will be tough to beat anyway with the likes of Texas having such a large proportion of votes.
Back to the point of the thread - I see the Bears have lost 2 on the trot now, I hope their fans are more patient than ours, or we will see Pat Lam out banners around the Gate and hanging off the overpasses of Bristol....
