Got a 5 nearly 6 year old to worry about mate. I have him 3/4 nights a week so moving hundreds of miles away (Would likely be Wales or Cornwall) really ain't feasible to me.
Maybe it's something you'd consider when he's a bit older, I used to fly Belfast to Liverpool on my own to see my dad probably twice a year around that age and a bit older, the days when they'd bring you to the cockpit and that ****. I used to love not just that but having 2 households to go to, 2 Xmas's/birthdays I never remember my parents together they split up when I was like 2 so I was never soppy like that. But I get you'd wanna stay close to him goes without saying
Potentially yes. But I'm very much one of those people who lives by a mantra of "Don't bother doing it if you ain't gonna do it properly" so am happy to wait it out. Can't replace these years with him ultimately. One of the good things about having him youngish (24) is that I'll still be a reasonable age when he's all grown up fending for himself. Nothing too close would take me fancy anyway tbh for the huge price hike that would come with it. Being down sarrf n all.
