Can any US posters tell me more about what is 'Peacock' and what does it have to do with NBC Sports Gold? Long story short, I can watch all your TV here on my daughter's subs she gets as I can con my house to being in Atlanta (no VPN), but are the extra Premier League games this year now on Peacock and not NBC Sports Gold? Just checking before I get my daughter to pay $4.99/month for something Cheers!
Clearly you have missed your vocation. You should be on the wireless or script writing for other comedians.
Bad news and Good news. The bad news is that it looks likely now that my four day cycling trip to Mallorca at the end of October won’t happen, or at best will be put back a year. @The Ides of March will be extremely disappointed that I won’t be turning up in his doorstep (for a year anyway) The good news is for @ChilcoSaint - one of the Mallorca trip lads lives near the Mendips, so he’s said we can have the October weekend at his, cycling down there. Get the kettle on Chilcs!!
If it’s a turbo charged one, you can bugger off!! Those hills will be a nightmare! I’ll let you know when it’s all firmed up and definitely stop off on the way down or back.
Frankie Bridge on Sunday Brunch, when asked how it went for her and Wayne Bridge when home schooling their 4 and 6 year old boys: “Not good. There’s a reason why Wayne was a footballer and I was a singer.” excellent bit of self p1sstaking
Perhaps Chilcs should take you on the Two Tunnels cycle trail along the old railway line from Bath through believe it or not two tunnels. You should start it Bath end though as it would be more fun due to about the 1 in 50 climb from Bath. You'll be known as thins when you get back.
I’ve done it in both directions, and yes, the haul from Oldfield Park up to the Devonshire Tunnel seems never-ending. Not as bad as the road stretch through Shoscombe and Wellow though!
I've walked the Two Tunnels bit in Both directions starting oldfield park end. All I can say is thank god for the Hope and Anchor pub at Midford
sound like it’ll be no good for my road bike! I have an old railway line from near where I live up to Market Harborough with two tunnels. I road that on my old banger of a bike a couple of years ago and neither me nor my mate had lights... the tunnels were a bit interesting with all the pot holes
