Barca appear to be out of the reckoning. It’s very much likely Utd with a slim outside chance of it being us.
The Star ...go on, laugh... ...claim that we offered Aurier to Wolves in a swap deal for Doherty, which Aurier rejected due to this never happening
Don't think I've ever been so chuffed to get 15 million pound player , if he plays as well as he talks we've got a gem
I thought it was £12m + add-ons? Anything to distract from David Bentley being the first £15m player that springs to mind, eh?
4 mate...we also signed Alfie Devine from wigan. Total spend on all four is £30m Seems a good window...a striker coming in would make it a great one
We've still not replaced Eriksen, GLC goes part way , sad to say that we need to ditch Ndombele as he's not doing it is he , back up striker and attacking midfield are a must for us to progress this season Good business so far , come on Enic get the cheque book out and back this club
already up to 30 mill? eeeek...hope Levy doesn’t realise we need a few more in before he pulls the plug on the splurge
Really good signing that for the price. As a pound for pound deal that’s probably one of the best signings of the summer - or at least I hope he proves to be! We’re getting astute business done relatively early and it looks like Levy and Jose are working really well to get the right sort of targets in. We all knew that outside of the usual big spenders that clubs won’t be having a large budget this window but we’ve brought in three senior Prem experienced players for less than £30m. If we can secure a striker, and then possibly look at the Ndombele-Skriniar swap with the aim to then sign a creative CM/CAM, this could well be up there as one of the best windows Spurs have had in years providing the players perform as expected.
The net spend is less than £20million though because of KWP going to Saints so let the splurge continue
It's likely we have Sessegnon & Cirkin covering LB for the season and see where the chips fall after that As for CM, van de Beek's name has come up again - along with the phrases "sell players" and "raise funds" which I find strange, because we've clearly sold KWP, Luke Amos and Armando Shashoua to raise funds...
They're certainly enjoying this transfer. Sold him to Wolves for £75k with a 10% sell on fee which now nets them a further £1.5m. The record transfer fee in the league of Ireland I believe is around €1m so this £1.5m will be huge for a club like this.
