If as reported the Holding deal is done I would have to assume that we are selling Schar and Lejeune and maybe one more CB?
He's said to be one of the best players in that league, but I don't know.. Its just what the fans say that. Just seems odd that he started following nufc only and it was a strong link Surely he knew who nufc is?
The links to him and Holding suggest we are defo going back four. Which you would assume means Schar and Lejeune will leave. Sensible if we are definitely switching. Suits Lascelles better too, I think he's too robotic in a back three. Our scouting team have done pretty well with centre backs in particular. Schar and Lejeune both came from from the scouting team trips to Spain. We've done a load of time there and in Germany. Previously we had the French thing going on. We seem pretty good at finding value on the continent, and have decent links to be finding out about all these clauses. To be honest the scouts have taken a lot of ****, but they've not done too badly over the past 5 years working under restrictions. If you think the likes of Schar, Lejeune, Almiron, ASM, Dubravka have all come in for good fees. They can't take the credit for Manquillo because Rafa signed him off the back of having had him previous. Of course Joelinton has so far turned out to be a disaster, but generally they've found good value. I have no idea on this guy though, never seen him play.
