I make factual statements about black Americans and have my posts deleted, yet this post was allowed to remain. How curious.
Go on. I'm intrigued. How does my, admittedly flowery, description of the Royal Albert Hall breach site rules?
I reported it for classism, xenophobia and several micro aggressions. Is there an Ernest Shackleton statue anywhere?
How does pointing out, when someone said during the World Cup that Russia against Germany was like Stalin v Hitler that Stalin was Georgian in breach of site rules? But it was deleted whilst the original post was left on. No doubt a post in similar vein to yours about the Notting Hill Carnival with similar less than flattering descriptions of the participants, calling for more diversity with folk singers warbling about bonny boats and Morris Dancers would not last long either.
Realistically, Sky should have replaced them gradually, whoever they were going to bring in. Also the media, once again, love to drag up something minor & put it out there!
Cost cutting by Sky. All three had 9 months left on their contract (which would have done this season). I suspect part of it is because Sky will no longer need 4 of them in the studio due to Covid. Realistically, it’ll be Stelling, Merson and another at the main desk then another reporter at the chairs in the SSN studio. The other reporters will be out and about the grounds. As for these “linked” names (which is basically just people reacting to betting odds), Micah Richards was brought in as one of Sky’s PL pundits so moving him to Soccer Saturday would be a demotion; Alex Scott is balancing punditry and presenting across Sky and the BBC and hasn’t actually been on Soccer Saturday regularly; Dion Dublin prioritises his BBC work and did little for Sky last year; and Clinton Morrison has done a fair bit of Soccer Saturday on the EFL-only editions (and I agree he’s dreadful at it). Scott Minto will have lost out because Sky don’t need him, David Prutton, Caroline Baker and Laura Woods for their EFL coverage. Minto is the longest serving presenter out of the four of them and probably the one on the most money. Prutton used to double up as pundit or co-comm and Baker/Woods double up as pitchside reporters so they offer value elsewhere. Edit - Sky have scrapped Goals on Sunday, the Sunday Supplement and The Debate in more cost-cutting measures. I’m not sure what they’re going to fill their three football channels with content-wise or how they’ll justify yet more price increases to subscribers.
The problem is we all know you are a snitch. A true snitch would have filed a complaint about the post.
Don't discriminate against him as he's white. If he was black you'd take him seriously. Erik posts matter!!
