A comment about the FNMT thread. Whoever came up with the idea originally - brilliant thought. Those who have carried on week by week - setting the topic etc - credit to you all too. It's sad I know, but this continuing thread theme is one of the highlights of my week. So many artists/bands I've never heard of. This forum thread has given me so much pleasure as far as exposure to new stuff. I'm saying this as someone who has close to 30,000 tracks - maybe closer to 40k by now, dowloaded over the last 15 years via software like Napster, Grokster, Limewire- and obviously more recently through youtube. Everyone have their favourite genres, bands - but there always seems like the general appreciation of music, whatever their choice, is respected on this particular thread. Credit to you all - and thanks for sharing.
I'm not even gonna click on that link Quill - now you've got me thinking there may be bugs embedded on the 1000 plus burned Cds/DVDs stored in my basement. That would mean my mission has been a total failure ! By the way - you've been a major contributer to the new music I'd never been aware of. I may have mentioned that before ? Cheers
