Most definitely. There's an Abondance of misinformation on here. Rumour has it Leicester are changing to Red kits ? With their 12 point penalty, looks like we'll be playing Sheffield Wensleydale in the 21-22 season. Unless we're relegated again.
Why would home fans need a train from I'm not sure the majority of City fans need to get a train to the KC unless you mean catch a train to away gamez from the KC? Plenty of fans still catch the train, it doesn't have to be a whole express train
As I referred to travelling hordes I would have thought it was obvious I was referring to them putting on trains for our fans going away before they made it easier for away fans to come here and make it seem like a home game for the opposition. I didn't say fans don't catch the train. I said the days of the football special were long gone. And they certainly weren't express trains.
HCC have millions of beans when it suits, BHS/CO-OP building, Rank Hovis site, National Cinema site, George Lamb Chapel, all of them recently purchased by HCC.
I don’t think the council would sell the stadium but I’m sure they’d do a joint venture thing with a new owner like the Fruit Market is with Wykeland and Beal. I’m sure they would have done the same with the Allams too if they weren’t such ****ers.
And therein layeth the problem. The Allams do not appear to be team players so would have most likely either refused to a joint venture or would have tried to con their way to more money by stuffing too many conditions in. The end result would have been the same.
The stumbling block is always going to be Hull FC. The stadium was more about saving them and many on the council thought FC represent the rugby town of Hull and they are world famous.
Hordes of fans ! Geez. How many are Rochdale bringing? But of course I forgot about the Wimbledon massive!
You've clearly totally missed my point of the advantage of a station at the KC or are just arguing for the sake of it. Home fans wouldn't use a stadium station so I don't understand your point.
The stadium wouldn’t go for more than £15m, but a very long lease would be far easier to sort and I’m sure the Council would love to renegotiate the lease. Building a stadium station less than a mile and a half from Paragon isn’t remotely viable, or necessary.
I was referring to our hordes travelling away. There may be games when a whole coach could be needed.
