It's literally impossible to pick a side that doesn't look brilliant... I think you should get less money or at least the prices should be more staggered... There's only really a few levels in terms of price...
@VespaPiaggio I was advised man united aren't playing week 1, so I think it's key to make sure your first 11 plays... Then sub in your mam United and city players week 2
Tactics mate, tactics. I'm of the opposite opinion and would ignore the fact that players are missing. Pick the 15 you are happy with irrespective, its a long season and it wont cost too many points if they don't play. VPs team is in the midst of a takeover anyway, so a different Manager is being appointed later tonight....
Indeed I had the same feeling... Do as you feel I'm ****e at this I think no subs should be allowed... Just pick your side and that's that imo...
Not a case of being *****, The problem I find with this version, is you have to keep on top of it, week in week out. I cant get away with the subs, bonus points and the non-stop option on transfers. I think it takes a lot of the skill and holding your nerve out of it. I stopped playing this one 4 or 5 years ago because of the above, after 1st and 2nd finishes on here. I'm only using it for the stats, to help on the Telegraph version which we play for prize money.
I basically can't be bothered changing things... If I'm in the mix I will, but once I fall behind I quit...
You have to be relentless all season. Its easier when you're playing for money, as you tend to be more committed than a fun game which is just for Kudos.
