Premier League lifts 60-year rule with major TV decision to be made The Premier League’s 3pm blackout is set to be lifted when the new season starts. It means that all Premier League games will likely be available for broadcast until the return of fans to stadiums, providing a boost to UK-based Liverpool and Everton fans eager to see matches live. The FA’s confirmation means the Premier League will be able to make matches available to British viewers when the new season starts. It was one of the few remaining stumbling blocks over the prospect of every game being shown live until fans return to stadiums, as happened at the end of last season following the coronavirus shutdown. The Times report that the Premier League’s initial stance was to honour their TV contracts to Sky and BT Sport, which meant that 40 per cent of games would not be shown live.
Yet those 'eye witness' accounts saying it was Liverpool fans taunting him. Has that bit officially come out yet? We will never know what happened but his explanation sounds dodgy at best. Bit sad if he was actually kicked and threatened by the police. Is he really that well known abroad?
With the signings they have made I fully expect Chelsea to be up there challenging next season some really quality in there
Need to watch this. I read his comments and what he was saying kind of made sense but it could also be complete bs, obviously it's his and his lawyers' interpretation. There are some body language analysis channels on youtube that this might end up on which would be interesting
Do you think it's odd that nobody has posted any photos or videos of the incident on social media? When things like this happen the internet is usually full of images . I can't say I've bothered looking anywhere for any pictures but somebody usually posts something on here. There's been nothing.
That is strange. My reasoning I guess would be that Mykonos is a small place and with corona maybe it's quieter there. I don't know where in Mykonos he was, the main going out bit? If it was there perhaps you'd still think somebody somewhere would've filmed it or snapped a pic, even if they didn't know it was him and only saw after. I haven't looked either, I don't really care about Harry Maguire, or any footballer really when they're not playing football
People can't wait to post pictures of footballers out and about getting involved in a fracas of any sort. There's always somebody standing there with their phone out. He must have paid them all off
I've watched it now. All you see is his face and shoulders so you can't get any other cues. But I'm inclined to believe him. He looks down a lot and I think he feels pretty regretful and chastened, almost traumatised by the whole thing. As for him saying he'll get over it pretty quickly I don't believe that, I think this whole thing has really upset him quite deeply and the looking down is him trying to stifle that and conceal just how upset he is. EDIT: Just seen more footage where you see his whole body, the video I watched on BBC site didn't have that. He's got his hands clasped which is apparently a sign of anxiety or 'self restraint' so that's probably open to interpretation here, depending on your stance on what he's saying
My biggest question is simply if you thought bad guys were trying to attack or kidnap you would you really run away, leaving your sister behind, and phone your agent? He says he didn't punch them. Well if he really thought they weren't police and feared for his life then why the **** not? None of it adds up.

Man United are paying David De Gea £375,000 a week and now Dean Henderson £120,000 a week. That's around half a million a week on just their two keepers... Eye-watering numbers!
I have heard £45m but either way it's got to be better than chucking £80m at the Wilshere wanna be Grealish.
