I imagine if we get him then Foyth goes either on loan or gets sold. Would be the no-nonsense partner to Toby or Dier. Still think that if Tanguy goes we might need another midfielder, preferably someone like GLC who can play as a 10 or deeper. Maybe not if José thinks Dele can do that, and/or we’re serious about Harvey White at the base of midfield.
I’d be concerned about his age and wage tbh. Clearly still a good player but don’t know how much more he has in the tank. We need to assemble the DoF committee, I’ll call Danny, you get the ice cream out of the freezer and fire up google.

Maybe it's an injury issue? Maybe he is waiting til the season starts...clubs having a bad start might be more willing to through bigger wages in his direction out of desperation?
I’m making an executive decision on this one whilst enjoying a Fab. I think he’s still got two top seasons in him, that’s enough for me. Should help get us a Europa League, an FA Cup and a League title in that timeframe...
His best season in the PL was 7 goals, and I think there’s question marks about him because he’s pretty short for a professional footballer at 5’4. He’d be a good pickup for a midtable PL team but I think he envisaged playing for a bigger club, I imagine any top-10 PL team will be looking at other options first before going back for him on a free.
Think Newcastle want him. Doesn’t sound like it’s gone to plan for him though, think he expected a top 6 club to snap him up. Maybe his decision to not stay on and help Bournemouth didn’t go down too well with interested parties(?), most other players opted to stay for the extra couple months and help their clubs out.
If there's a way that we get Skriniar and Brozovic while Ndombele heads the other way, that would be a Levying for the ages
