In football related nufc terms what’s to be positive about.

• Takeover off.
• Still MA in charge.
• Penfold still in role.
• Bruce still in role.
• Nil spends so far.
• Best striker Gayle our injured.
• Best goalkeeper out injured.
• Only available striker available AC. Zero goals.
• Brentford outspending us.
• All signings so far are freebies.
• Season starts very soon and we look a mess.

So, to you positive minded people....... can you tell me some positives to try and give me any reason whatsoever to try and whip up some interest in next season?

 

Oh and Leeds have spent 50m.

 

West Brom have also spent 9m.

 

We're 1 day closer to Ashley kicking the bucket

 

Joselu scores 9 goals last season. More than all
Our strikers combined.

 

The cartel got smashed out of the CL this year.

 

The only real positive is that nobody has taken 1 of our 3 good players

 

Then Chelsea go and spend 225m on players.

 

We only have 2 good players, who’s the 3rd?

 

Dubs, ASM, Miggy

 

Ah see I class dubs as an average player. I may get slated for that but I just think he is average.

I do have a positive, we sold the ginger pirlo.

Cant think of anything else positive.

 

So basically the only positives are things that didn’t happen rather than did?

I said that earlier but it’s such good news in all the dross that’s it’s worth another mention.

Honestly though. We joke but when you read through the above there’s not much to be positive about is there. Even Fulham have spent 10m.

 

Agreed. Brentford are spending £10m on Toney too. Basically everyone will outspend us.

 

I’ve just had a look at the current spends to date for the 20/21 season. Nearly all clubs have spent money now.

Just cannot see us spending anything at all.
