Cool, Phil McNulty will be doing his **** table prediction any day, and this'll be something he can use to predict us finishing bottom again.

Cue the doom and gloom mongers who will have learnt nothing from last season. The end is nigh, the championship beckons, relegation is guaranteed...

So on and so on :emoticon-0113-sleep

Have to say though I hope Gillespie is good cause I don't trust Darlow <laugh>

I met that lad Langley, he's ****ing huge - he must be about 6ft 9in (ok maybe slight exagerration) - looked like a basketball player. But looked like he needed a few of my grans Sunday dinners.

I must admit I was a bit taken aback, he literally looked like a skinny giant. Nice kidda mind, seemed to have his head screwed on and just really keen. I know I'm getting older now, because when someone is polite and has good manners, I immediately like them and think 'from good stock' <laugh>

Dubs also said that he immediately told the coaches at NUFC but still trained for 3 more days. He has had a small operation.

    WTF are our coaches doing?

    Oh really...?

If you look at every so single stat in the game whether it's possession, goals or anything nufc are bottom, so you then go looking for something to explain why they're 13th and then you find it.. Dubravka made more saves than any other GK by a huge last season...... Im open for your explanation of course..

Or is it Bruce's luck as some said..?

No explanation required. One player never keeps a TEAM up let alone a squad. If we didn't have him someone else steps in. I can point to countless things why we stayed up. Not least Federico Fernandez when we hit top form. Shelvey's goals? I mean if we want to be really honest, we'd all just admit that tactically during Nov-Dec Bruce had a really good spell and achieved a great set of results which delivered about 16 of the points or something. Its an accumulation of all of the squads efforts that kept us up, simple as that.

Its an absolutely ridiculous assertion in my opinion, but unsurprising given the timing. As usual we are in the season of doom and gloom same as last year. Despite ending up with a vat full of egg on their face, the doom and gloom are out in force again. They've put on their brave face and started looking for excuses why their predictions were so wildly wrong. So we get:
    1. Lucky (<laugh> the most humourous of all)
    2. Dubravka gets injured - ah he kept us up, honest guv
    3. The league was particularly weak last year
    4. We stayed up because of Rafa
    5. The moon orbited the earth slightly slower than normal
Don't worry we will get the same bullshit this season if it doesn't go to plan i.e. relegation. I think Dubs did well, but our fans massively overate his ability too. He dropped clangers which cost us points too. Not that its a big deal, but he was hardly so immaculate that he impacted our results to the point where without him, we wouldn't have stayed up. Pretty sure we would.

The numbers don't lie though.... If you have the ****test keeper along with the ****test outfield side in the league we'd have gone down..

Worst on every area of the game bar one... GK by a huge margin..
