I suspect the relationship between Donald and FPP isn't as bad as certain people would want you to believe. Then not buying the club was nothing to do with him changing anything, they just came to the club and realized the size of the club so didn't want to do it unless they could commit to it.

It would now appear that furhman has decided he's going to give it his full attention.

 

Last year we heard news. Hearing absolutely nothing is good in a takeover I’m told so when it’s announced I’m not falling for it.

 

Most of the news came directly from Donald yapping his mouth of and introducing the new owners to the manager, etc.

He seems to have learned a very hard lesson.

 

In more ways than one. In my view he saw an opportunity for a quick profit in Sunderland and a bit of positive attention. He got neither of them either. As I say a lot, his ego and neediness are his weaknesses ! He thought he could make good football decisions.

That would be my reasoning too. Opening his mouth showed his habd to the yanks..They hooked him good and proper.

 

Might be right there William, but it would be the actions of someone pissed off with how the negotiations went, who gave a loan knowing the chances are they could get the club for a fairer value down the line once Donald inevitably gets himself into trouble having felt he had to accept it. In short, its how good businessmen would approach it. A bit cutthroat maybe, but that's probably why he's a successful businessman and not someone with a product almost no one can find in the shops.

As for bringing up securing it against the stadium, what the **** were they meant to secure it against? Donald's word? Sounds like he knows he's not getting it, or certainly nowhere near the driving seat, and is thrashing about.
