In hindsight I could have, I just didn't know what I was going to be doing for long term living arrangements and didn't want to be hiking a load of kit around France with me. Besides, I'd rather get out and see the place; if I had my PS3 with 2 new games I don't think I'd have done much of that to be fair!

Am I the only one that noticed that if you put the commentating on Townsend and the other guy, they say "Tiote Cheick" when he gets the ball...?

 

At least it did when I got it home last night, the other two didn't even say his name in any way, shape or form

 

Yeah he says 'Tiote Cheik' - its from his commentary of World Cup 2010 for the Ivory Coast.

 

I pick mine up at dinner time cant wait, i pre ordered it for the xbox 360 because i think controller is better for FIFA....or do peeps think i should get it for PS3?

 

It's definitely awesome. However, I was a bit worried about all their chat about injuries and impact and justifiably so!

First game of new career mode, friendly against Lazio - Demba Ba taken down for a 'pelanty' with a nasty scythe from the side, and now out for 7 months! I knew it was going to be bad when they said, "looks like his knee".

Looks like my Virtual Pro is going to get fast tracked to the first team quicker than expected.

 

PS3 is ****ed so i can't get it! Got me little nephew sleeping on Saturday and he's bringing his PS3 so i'll get a chance then, Hopefully!

 

It's amazing but I saw this ****ing weird Impact engine glitch - Anelka (who the mackems signed in it) got his head stuck through Gyan's chest and they fell to the floor in the background as I took a goal kick. I couldn't stop laughing though

 

My first ever game and Gyan was flagged offside against me. It then flicked to Coloccini getting ready to take the free kick and Gyan and Sessegnon were attached on the floor and couldn't get up. It was hilarious!

 

career mode I lost all 3 friendly's despite having good possession, I bought Aly Cissokho.. Danny Rose (I sold Jonas for 11 mil) Rodallega too and Pieters.

Stoke offered my 18 mil for Jonas. It was with heavy heart that I accepted the offer.

Still, managed to get Derdiyok and a young CB from Bayern Munich with August and 20 mil to replace Jonas. Liverpool offered my 8 mil for Colo, they can get right out.

Shola's already on my back about how he feels it's his big chance, "I feel in a real good run of form" - the most lifelike game yet!

 

Why is Manager Mode in FIFA still shocking?!

They have been making FIFA Manager for donkeys years, not that i've played that for a while, but I'm sure it won't be as bad as the manager mode in Fifa.

Why cant they just merge the two and at least try and make an effort........or maybe come together with Football Manager and make the ultimate game. Just imagine Football Manager with Fifa gameplay....erection.

At least Ultimate Team is a part of it this year...and if you've got Ultimate Edition like myself, a nice 4 free gold packs every month.

 

Didnt get a chance to get the Ultimate edition. But then again, every pack of golds I have ever got on Fifa 11 were ****.

 

Does anyone know of a way to edit the player names font on the back of the jerseys(PC version), there's big huge block letters currently that are really stretched out and make the jersey look cheap(even for Puma...).

It looks like EA have just used a universal edit program so all the teams have the same **** lettering which is f*cking heinous looking compared to Konami's PES jerseys which are of a really high detail quality with superb customisation options, they even have different thread patterns in the material for each manufacture if you look closely, which is a nice touch.
