Hopefully was them just playing hard ball and putting SD over a barrel then. If that is the case hopefully this takeover is them and they got what they wanted for the rock bottom price they wanted. If it is only good things can happen. For them to make a return we need to be back in the PL asap. I need this and I think we all do atm never felt this out of touch with the club in my whole life.
I'd imagine the few bits to iron out aren't going to be immediate - otherwise they'd have been ironed out. Perhaps they get ironed out tomorrow but people shouldn't suddenly get hopes up of imminent news. This is very promising progress though.
I'm certain mate. Seriously, I have loads of tricky stuff to sort at work and don't have the time or patience to make stuff up. When you know every word you post is forensically examined you know you'd trip yersel up eventually. Apart from the last takeover falling at the death I was right about everything else ... ... but some people prefer to keep, falsely, claiming anything I got right came from the papers. F**k them
Good post mate, agree with your last sentence wholeheartedly! Which says something when you consider some of the difficult the times we've lived through.....15 and 19 point seasons weren't a joy ride! I believe the reason the deal failed last year was because the price assumed promotion......which,of course, hasn't happened. I would guess that the seller is now more willing to accept a price which more accurately reflects the current league position, even though there may be add-ons to help realise the potential previously envisaged.
the only thing right in papers is fish and chips. just ignore them mate, the sensible,( well fairly) ones amongst us appreciate what you post.
Ignoring *who* is saying that - the content of it comes perilously close to what has been discussed on here by the posters who seem to have genuine information. Interesting.
Im not sure how people can say nothing is happening when parky’s comments after the last game said something was going on he said he hadn’t been given a time scale for it
