Match Day Thread Champions vs Champions 12/09/2020

Liverpool champions of the Premiership and Leeds United champions of the Championship meeting for the first time in sixteen years at Anfield on 12th September 2020, this game is going to be a cracker. Tony Yaboah's goal at Anfield still fresh in my memory.

We are not expecting an easy game, nice to see you back Leeds.

I agree, those 40-50 fans that would have come with you would have terrorised the Liverpudlians.

 

If there is a good time to play Liverpool it’s this time, looking forward to Philips v’s Henderson.

 

I was sat perfectly in line with him when he hit that beauty against Liverpool at ER, I was up.as soon as he pulled his leg back.

 

Last 2 seasons they've opened at home, 4-0 and 4-1.
I would rip someone's arm off for a draw. I'm not being negative, no one gets anything at Anfield, our first game is against Fulham

 

It is sensible to approach the Prem with a certain amount of trepidation, as well as hope.

We may surprise ourselves, lets hope the surprise starts from the first game on.

But if we are to have a reality check, I'd rather it came from Liverpool than one of the teams in the Prem that I loathe.
