Coronavirus KILLED by product in insect repellent - UK armed forces make MAJOR discovery CORONAVIRUS has been killed by a product used in insect repellent a groundbreaking study from the UK's armed forces has claimed. Officials from the DSTL are now sharing their findings in order to help further research. Citriodiol was already known to kill off other types of coronavirus but results published today, now point to the product as being effective against COVID-19, Sky News has reported. The mosquito spray is used in conjunction with face masks and other hygiene procedures for added protection in the army. On its own, it is not thought to be sufficient against the virus although the company which produces Citriodiol has previously called for formal testing to begin. please log in to view this image Coronavirus: UK armed forced to discover potential vaccine product (Image: Express/GETTY/Mosi-Guard) please log in to view this image Coronavirus: UK armed forces were issued with the vaccine (Image: PA) Jacqueline Watson, managing director of Citrefine International Ltd, said: "What we can say is that we do feel there is a very good chance it could work against this virus but it does of course need to be thoroughly tested." Citriodiol is found in insect repellents such as Mosi Guard. The UK armed forced decided to press ahead with issuing the repellent due to the large number in stock. Indeed, due to the spray not having any negative side effects, the Army used the spray without hearing back from the results.
If Trump finds out he will ask Doctor Blix if it would work when ingested, stupid orange faced bastard, a new miracle cure.
And then say he was "joking" when it is pointed out to him that what he is advocating will almost certainly kill you.
He's already had it in his sarnies marra with a dash of bleach and fish tank cleaner dressing for a bit added cure.
The thing is it's not a cure and if you get covid then your body has to deal with it..... it will just act as a kind of disinfectant you can rub on yourself like sun cream - and unlike hand sanitiser the effect lasts for a few hours. (as I understand it.. feel free to correct me) It won't stop you breathing covid in and catching it that way either - so don't bin your masks yet.. however, it would be a big kick in the balls for the virus if we stopped hand to face transmission.. and it'd maybe reduce the R down to the point where we can keep pubs and schools open at the same time. The cumulative effect of everyone using it could be big.
