I really can't see us getting much out of this, the majority of our games so far this season have been against the teams who are have also found themselves at the wrong end of the table. I don't think we have a good enough team to come with real quality. I hope I'm wrong but I think it might be a repeat of the west ham scoreline
I will be over the moon if we get anything from this game, must go down as a home banker and a case of how many the Saints will score. Do not think we will get anything other than a headache about where we are going to go next Sorry about the doom and gloom, it's called the Victor Meldrew syndrome
must agree with the above 2 posts I think a 4-0 home win is on the cards! I would be happy if our GD doesnt get hurt too bad! If we concede early it could be a long painful afternoon!
SG, more like reality! On paper this is your game to lose, we would bite your hand off for a draw anything else is dream world
My heart says 3-1 Saints but thinking 3-3 (We do concede goals) The last two games were just a minor blip and hopefully Adkins has worked on it during training this week. Still a good time to be a Saints fan and Im happy at how we have started the season, we play some good football too. Looking forward to the game tomorrow. COYR
Yeah, and you stay up all that time for just a 10 second clip! I can't imagine what it must be like for the likes of Barnet and Macclesfield fans in League 2! I gave up and waited until Monday to watch the highlights online, much easier!
Last time we were in the equivalent of League One, it'd be a miracle if we saw a lower league club televised all season.
If he ends up pleased, he can return the favour by asking his team not to bring any fireworks to the Riverside on Bonfire night.
My dad would be happy to as a Rams fan! I just cant see it though ! quality will shine through in the end ! is we can keep the saints out for the first 30 mins we might gain a little confidence ,but I do consider this as a bit of straw clutching!
Tip for Watford, Saints have been practicing hoof ball tactics at Staplewood all morning, we are going to by-pass your midfield, you have been warned.
interesting !!! anyone know we had a midfield this season!!! How can you bypass what isnt there! Would love it if southampton played hoofball against us , we might be able to defend against it!
I would not be at all surprised if we nick this one - we have a good record at Southampton in recent years and we are much more solid away from home. The home win against Millwall can only boost our confidence and going to St Marys as underdogs will take the pressure off. Nothing to lose and all to gain.
Tip for Watford, this afternoon at Staplewood Saints have been practising 42 passing moves before giving it back to KD.
