Well, that was a fairly quick trial...done and dusted in less than a day. I'd believe it happened if the prosecution had video evidence.
He didn't do anything wrong at all. He's been proper stitched up by typically ****/corrupt police (IMO).
Greek police and corruption go hand in hand. Unless there is actual evidence I'm not sure I believe someone as dour and boring as Maguire would do something like that
Apparently he was attacked from behind on the Wednesday night, by the time he'd turned round to retaliate it was Friday morning and he lamped an innocent bystander.

I doubt that's the case either. More than likely there has been a bit of a fracas which has now been massively exaggerated because he probably had the audacity to defend himself or speak up for himself. A very bad idea in Greece it has to be said. One thing for sure, those alleged comments are absolutely 100% fabricated unless you're an absolute simpleton Which begs the question why are the police feeling the need to embellish this story so much.
He's as guilty as sin.... If it was me or you we'd get the same... He should learn that in a foreign country you have your holiday and keep your mouth shut
