Yep. Hardly consultation / supporter representation. Fair summary - another day, same **** ........ "I always tend to feel positive walking away from these things but actions speak louder in long run. Good noises made but defensive when challenged - nothing new there. Says lessons learnt but some broad brushstroke statements without much in the way of detail. We will see" (Edit: written as OL was posting. Great minds eh).
You missed this one. Accepted & apologised for poor communications over recent months. Has been difficult with furlough etc. but mistakes were made and plans in place to improve in future. Extra person now involved directly in supporter communications to work in Joe’s team and alongside Ann. Not sure when this happened but still waiting to see the improvement going by the comments on here. Oddly enough I can now see it in the twitter thing OLM posted, so apologies to OLM unless you've edited your post, then your a **** for making me look daft.
Good point, and as if any further proof was needed, the initial lack of and then the poor attempts at any meaningful communication out of the club over recent weeks (NOT the social media light / fun stuff) just demonstrate that virtually everything he says is bullshit.

So, no change then. Heard it all before. The team was too young is ridiculous. It wasn’t too young until they stripped out the likes of Irvine and Lichaj, who offered that bit of experience we desperately needed. Relegation was ultimately the fault of the Allams and One Plan. They are now telling customers what they think they want to hear as they have had so many membership cancellations.
My interpretation of that was actually them saying they were owning up to the mistake of getting rid of those older guys.
I can see that but if that’s truly the case it sort of ****s on the “improve poor communication” statement. Clear communication wouldn’t be open to interpretation.
In fairness that's more down to the person whose tweets we're interpreting, not the club. The official minutes haven't been released.
Not really fair on the attendee. All of that stuff could have, and should have, been said by the club direct to all fans at the end of last season, not whispered to a few chosen ones in a meeting that the actual formal fans representatives are banned from
I suppose they could have communicated to those attending something along the lines of “keep your gobs shut ‘til minutes have been agreed & officially released”
I agree and he acknowledges the poor communication. I think it's a weak excuse to blame COVID though, but again they are acknowledging they weren't as good as they could have been. The reason I posted the tweet that I did was that, to me, that was the most significant thing said at the meeting. If they're willing to write off debt then it means they're serious about selling.
I was simply pointing out that if they were serious about improving communications then they could do, and they could do it very easily. I agree them saying they are prepared to write off the debt is a good thing. Whether it actually means the same as when they said they’d sell it for £1 though TWT.
