FAQ's are a nonsense on most sites aren't they? I was just looking at a gadget that interested me. It had a 'knowledge base' and FAQ section. Nowhere did it answer what has to be the most frequently asked question...How much is it?
Hmm... As one of the rare form of fans that still, for now, has a pass I thought I’d share the email on returning Looks like you’ll be split from mates, but can sit with family you live with (or bubble with) Thank you for your continued support during what continues to be an uncertain time in so many aspects of life. We cannot wait for the day when we can welcome you back into the KCOM Stadium to support the team that we all love. Although it remains unclear when that day will actually be, with the opening games of the 2020/21 season set to be played behind closed doors, a lot of work is already going on behind the scenes to ensure that we are ready for when the Government gives the green light for crowds to return. It is clear that there will be many directives and guidelines for us to follow in order to make things safe for everybody. However, we are approaching this with the aim of accommodating every current Member at every home league game, but for this to be achieved we’re asking you to help us to help you. Social distancing will be a key factor when it comes to the stadium reopening, and we need to make sure this is in place within all seated areas. Therefore, we’re asking Members to let us know their family/social ‘bubbles’ (up to a maximum of six people) in order for us to allocate seating. This can be done through an online form which is available by clicking here. Only one Member per ‘bubble’ needs to complete the form and it is vitally important that we receive these forms back from you in order to make the most of what will be a reduced capacity, with seats having to be left empty between each ‘bubble’. We ask that forms are returned to us by 4pm on Tuesday 1st September. The lead Member on the form will then be contacted with further details including possible temporary access cards, a COVID Code of Conduct and Conditions of Use relating to entering the stadium (the wearing of face coverings in enclosed spaces etc). Please note that we’re asking all Members to retain their current Membership cards as these will be reactivated if and when things return to normal. It is important to let you know that, due to social distancing, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to allocate you your regular seat(s) although we will do all we can to seat you within your regular stand. Should this not be possible, we are able to offer further seating in the North Stand and West Stand Upper Tier, and there is a section on our online form where you can indicate your preference should we need to move you to a different area of the ground. Further details about how a return to the KCOM Stadium may look will be communicated to Members as and when they become clear but, for now, we ask you to help us to take the next step. Thank you. I never used to get emails from the club, I realised it was because I opted out at some point, probably during peak-Hull-Tigers-half-wittery. I opted back in and now I get them all.
I read it assuming that it was mentioning ‘bubbles’ as in family bubbles with one single relative, following Govt guidance. Others reading it like you just pick friends you want to sit with for your Hull City bubble. On reflection I think they might be right, but it’s typically rubbish of them to write something that can be read differently by different people.
Don’t be too harsh on the staff, they’re hands are tied and they’re all **** scared of losing their jobs. It’s a case of don’t look anyone in the eye atm, and that runs right through the club.
They are applying the outdoors meeting bubble rules, I am told. Apparently that guidance has a limit of six people from different households.
But that isn’t a ‘bubble’ in Govt speak (in fact the guidance specifically says it isn’t, it’s just a gathering, and you also need to be 2m apart from the other 5 (assuming they’re all from different households) I’m sure you’re right though btw.
I definitely didn't opt out , I used to get regular emails from them until recently I'm not sure how many members they've got left but maybe they should at least try and keep those by replying to emails etc. as I've heard nothing back when I told them about it At the moment I feel like opting out of the club
To be honest, I read it as sitting with six people you want to sit with. There could be not606 bubbles. The hard part would be finding another 5 you would want to sit with.
I think you’re right, but it’s just stupid using the word ‘bubble’ Will there be more than 6 members left anyway?
I've been nothing but polite but to be honest I expect at least an acknowledgement of my concerns if i'm paying £30. Its not good enough.
