No because not all African men care about the Pope. No-one said that the Pope causes AIDS, his message is, however, making things worse. Now run along or learn how to read
A lot just follow the rules they want to. "No jonnies, that's a good idea, shagging feels better without them", "Abstinence, not too sure about that one, my balls are like watermelons as it is." What if, because you married the wrong bird (you were just desperate to shag her and putting a ring on her finger was the only way), you end up really unhappy, start to drink, use soft drugs. Before you know it, you're a smack-head, and you get AIDS from sharing a needle? You'd be gutted!
Where's that pope quote? So basically your method of do whatever you want doesn't actually help the AIDS epidemic, but if you want to be safe the unrealistic option of abstinence is always an option. A bit of a strange theory considering you said you use them yourself. Again, how can it be racist to say that people in Africa take the word of the pope very seriously?
Yep - he did. Just over 16% of Africans are Catholic. As I mentioned at the start of the thread, there are far more protestants in Africa and their most popular denominations don't believe in condoms either. Yet, 11 pages later, you're all still arguing about the pope. Medro's job done
No, they're still not. He could save millions of lives in Africa by promoting safe sex, but they'd still have a problem. Millions die from it every year. He could help to reduce that number.
