Whether you abide by that is your own personal choice and risk. I personally dont think so. My view is that Condoms are not readily available or not affordable in small towns and villages across Africa, that is why Aids is spreading. I'm sure if a comparison was done, Aids would be evenly spread across all denominations." Its just sad that people think if the pope changed his mind on condoms, aids would just magically disappear
white smoke means they have made up their mind I am not so sure that is true. The Pope tells people to restrict their sexual activity to within the confines of a marriage and they don't listen so well. this argument cannot work both ways.

Can I ask a question... Do you belive that, if you do happen to abstain from sex, finding the one partner who has done the same and stay with them for the rest of your life (never cheating), abstincence is the one sure fire way (100% safe way) of never contracting AIDS (via sexual intercourse).
If you said this earlier to make your point, why are you posting it again? Who the hell said AIDS would dissapear. Do you not think if he said that condoms were okay to be used then this would have a positive affect on the AIDS epidemic in Africa? Because do you know what, most people do.
What effect do you think the popes message has on the use of condoms in Africa? Do you think African men abide by the popes message on Abstinence? What would happen if he said yes to condoms? ****
