I've still got my clogs <laugh> I also bought an Edam cheese for Dad & a large bunch of 'Tulips from Amsterdam' for Mum, a popular song at the time (Max Bygraves I think).

Love it, pundits crash and burn again. Before the two finals they were almost writing off the UEFA cup as going to be so dull as hardly worth talking about, while the CL final was going to be a 4-3 goal fest.

Munich were imperious throughout all stages of the CL this season.

From what I can see, PSG hardly forced Munich to raise their game to
serious heights (perhaps fearful of being on a 7-8 goal spanking if they
    went toe to toe ?? ) .

I watched a different match! In my match Manuel Neuer was probably man of the match with a number of excellent saves and PSG were denied a stonewall penalty.

I thought Bayern were pushed quite hard and had to raise their game significantly in the 2nd half to get to win the game and in the end just about deserved it.

If PSG had any composure if front of goal they'd have scored a couple. Both sides should have had penalties.

Agreed on penalties for both, but I think part of PSGs lack of composure maybe due to Neuer and his presence and demeanor, he still cuts an impressive figure as a keeper

If you believe in xG stats (to be more specific, post shot expected goals minus goals allowed per 90) he was the best keeper in the PL by a fair margin last year. https://fbref.com/en/comps/9/keepersadv/Premier-League-Stats

I thought he was good all year, but better than good after the break. Among other things, he was getting the ball to his teammates from goal kicks, which I never remember him doing.

Patson Daka with a couple of quick goals for Salzburg against Liverpool.
Putting in good numbers for them. 24 goals in 31 league games last season. One to watch.
