so it that case when people ask for an apple are they a supporter of Steve Jobs and co, are Tory supporters wary of doing any labour in case is it construed as being a supporter of Labour?

They are scum. I cannot think of a more fitting word to sum them up.
Whether it's the lack of family values, absent Fathers/Mothers/Grandparents, the fact that unlike in my day schools cannot impose meaningful discipline on them and there is no national service to kick their asses into line, or whether it's just yet another whole generation who have grown up knowing that they can flout the law and laugh in its face, because they know they'll never get the punishment they deserve, or even more so, ever appreciate the lasting harm and agony they cause innocent families who are unfortunate enough to encounter them. The death penalty was too good for the 3 who killed Andrew Harper. I would have liked a medieval torture system where they are in physical agony for a week before being put down like a diseased dog.
And prison where drugs are rife and you can more or less have full access to the internet etc? Come on !!!!!! Doesn't sound like much of a hardship does it ?
We have this whole latest undercurrent of such people (scum, and not the first generation of them either) who think that owning the latest, trainers, I-Phone and having a tattoo, or multiple tattoos means they've made it in life when in this persons humble opinion they don't deserve to have even been born. Yet the law abiding, hard working members of the community have to support them via welfare, prison, young offenders institutions that frankly seem to have no effect and pick up the pieces when they cross our paths.

And is it me or do the likes of Liverpool and Manchester (particularly) have the overall monopoly on this ? Aside from London, where have the most house parties been etc

I know it sounds old fashioned In this 'enlightened' era, but personally I would like to see a major review and overhaul of the Criminal Justice System and a return to Victorian values where going to prison meant enduring hell.
There's an old saying. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
    Rant over

In light of the new found wokeness of football it will be interesting to see how many footballers of whatever ethnicity will refuse to play at the 2022 world cup in Qatar?, considering the ongoing human rights abuses, slavery scandal involving the building of the stadia (and still ongoing), human trafficking, women's rights, LGBT rights and religious persecution??? and links to terrorism.

I am sure we will see a lot of knee taking and wedge taking, but few if any refusals to play.

    Very good point !
For some players (of all favoured nationalities football wise) who have personal endorsements and probably mega bucks riding on them appearing in Qatar, I'm sure they'll not be turning down the money.

Which if it does happen, will question their real ethics.

Everybody and their dogs know how corrupt the awarding of the world cup to Qatar was, well here is a real opportunity for the modern woke footballers to make a stand and a statement.

in a way is also racist … putting one above another?
well it is a very good job it is not, and throwaway statements like that is music to my ears it draws the line between making a statement, being able to back it up or indeed have the bottle /savvy to admit it was not on the mark guess you cant expect old dogs to learn new tricks we have to go with what our life has so far taught us …. mine is very strongly based on principals and " those that cannot change the very fabric of their thought will never be able to change in reality" ;)

Now that's a point I can agree with. The whole thing will be a sham in all honesty, from start to finish it's been an utter mess. And any player or country who refuses to take part would get my backing 100%. Not that I can see it happening of course.

Corruption probably got them the gig in the first place which I found shocking and it made me ask does money mean more than people's human rights? <doh>

Having said that perhaps the Football League as a whole needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves if there are any owners that are from the same systems who probably did not quite meet the supposed standards when they purchased their clubs?

    I think so.

people also say its a sentiment. well this sentiment has rules. rules for white people. if you dont share BLM angst and actively support it you are a racist.

Woke only applies to Europe and the West.

Woke players and the EPL don't fight the fight v the Countries they have juicy tv deals with lining pockets and homes with lavish extravagance. Look at the owners of clubs. Look at who makes the over priced kits. A world cup in Qatar is a reflection of football.

    Keeping bending the knee chaps.

Absolutely the BBC are a crappy organisation these days, I watched a documentary about the vile fantasist Carl Beech last night, the quality was shocking. They were quite happy (and quite rightly) to give the Met police a good kicking but apparently only a re edit after complaints were made was labours former nonce finder general Tom Watson even mentioned (about 5 seconds worth) but no mention about his cowardly naming of names using parliamentary privilege.

It comes to something when the only BBC programme I watch is Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse gone fishing. I cannot even stand to watch MOTD with the snivelling overpaid St Gary Lineker, having to watch players and officials taking the knee at every single game.

Sorry to be that guy again, and happy to be proven wrong, but this whole thing about Rule Britannia seems nonsense to me as well. As in, I don't think anyone was genuinely wanting to remove those songs from The Proms, or if they did, it was nothing more than a handful of people. But look how big this story has got, it's massive now. All over nothing.

It's what the tabloids are absolute masters of. They whip up a load of faux outrage, or exaggerate what an absolutely tiny minority are thinking or doing, and then it creates all of this hysteria which then ends up with thousands criticising a group of people who didn't even have that opinion in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, if the lyrics to those songs were written today then it would be different. But I don't think even far lefties wanted these songs stopped - it's fake outrage that gets the right-wingers fuming, feeling like their country is being taken away from them once again, when in reality it was probably just a few people even thinking about proposing it. And now the BBC look daft for something that probably wasn't even a real consideration in the first place.
