I agree, If MG did have a group of investors and approached the club then we have been told that somebody is in an exclusivity period of talks who we believe are not MG's group.. Maybe hes just been respectful and accepting that if that breaks down then he could come in but until then its pointless bumping his gums as it would look unprofessional.

He did an interview on metro radio a think, I only listened to snippets, he worded things a bit more professionaly than the one he did with Barnes. Barnes said in that podcast yesterday, "we have been given a date, lets see what happens". When I posted it over the road, it was suggested that he was talking generally. That comment is quite specific to me and I may be overreacting, but I would interpret that as a deadline for something to happen or not, which SD has told him and he let it slip. Fingers ****ing crossed
I actually think his offer is genuine and if things fall through with Furhman we might move onto a deal with the scruff.
My gut feeling is that he wants the club but doesn't have a money. He might have some backers, but probably not enough to buy the club. By being so vocal he's maybe hoping some other potential backers contact him, enabling him to eventually cobble enough together to be able to show proof of funds. I thought the stuff Barnes came out with was pretty positive though, definitely still thinks there's a takeover ongoing, says no one is speaking about it, expects to hear more later on. I think he is getting info from Donald mind, because I have reason to believe the meeting with Storey wasn't complete chance as Barnes implies, but neither was it a meeting relating to Storey actually taking over
I don't buy this Storey "smokescreen" or "publicity stunt" rhetoric. Storey would be pretty stupid to damage his reputation further after the formula one debacle. I think his bid is genuine.
He means given the date as in “by the start of the new season or it could even be as soon as the end of August”.
Whether Jacka Storey has the cash or not makes no difference to me tbh, not tha I think he has. I just don't like the way he's gone about it. Make a bid, show you have the money, then talk about everything you're going to do. Until then, shut the **** up.
Im not going through this again over here as well. I know exactly what he was referring, but who gave him the dates? How can his assumption of a completion timescale be construed as "been given dates". My interpretation is he was given dates when conversing with SD when this kicked off
