Is this because Liverpool signed a Greek left back?

Prices are really low across the board this transfer window. Clubs are desperate to get rid of wages.

Can't say I know anything about him. We need at least one left back though.

Never heard of him, and £4.5m seems like peanuts these days so he's probably ****.

He does have a funny name though, and that's all that matters.

Does anyone seriously think we sent a scout to Greece?

We did. His report read as follows:

Some good footwork but largely disappointing. Worst Danny Zuko I've seen in ages.

Isn't 4.5 million a large fee for a defender under Ashley?

No. Fernandez cost £6m, Lejeune cost around £10m I think, Coloccini cost around £10m.

Santon, Yanga manga mbwia (no idea of spelling), Clark, Lascelles, Manquillo and more all cost around £4.5m and more.

I reckon it's the lower end. Think Manquillo

    Jetro won't work in a back 4

I am sure. He's an average defender at best and only shone in a back 5 as he could roam forward. In a back 4 he doesn't have the discipline or positional sense.

It really is important to decide how we intend to play, ignore the fans, and try to buy players to fit. Bruces head is on the line so he needs to be selfish. I really Jetro but I'm just not sure in a back four. He has done it before successfully, but I really think he looked like a wing back. The extra centre back means his mistakes are less costly.

Jetro willems is more than good enough to play in a back 4... His injury is the concern... We can play 2 systems no problem it's 2020
