https://www.belfastlive.co.uk/sport...s/former-glentoran-youngster-can-big-18765328 We’ve signed a 16-year old in case that gets anyone’s excitement up.
"This lad is playing for the wrong team. Seriously. Mario Lemina is an Arsenal player if ever I have seen one. For far too long in my opinion, Arsene Wenger has faffed around with the likes of Mohamed Elneny. Wenger should have invested in Lemina during the summer and got in there well before Southampton did. Lemina is wasted at St Mary's. Sorry, Southampton fans, but you just do not have the class of player to bring the best out of this lad." Garth - the utter bell-*** - Crooks
Would have fit in well there, to be fair. Massive contract, can't defend, doesn't put in any effort and goes drinking instead. Perfect arsenal player.
In this day and age, does he not think that Arsenal`s scouting/recruitment team would not have considered Lemina - much in the same way they considered Cedric. They, like the majority of Europe, are thinking no thanks, even at a knock down price. What a fcukwit Crooks is.
I clicked this link about Spurs wanting Pierre’s Southampton teammate and was ready to have a chuckle at another report of a team wanting Danny. Turned out to be funnier than that!!! Who writes these things??? https://the4thofficial.net/2020/08/...ergs-southampton-teammate-does-it-make-sense/
With this transfer going through, and with the rumour Leicester were interested in Bertrand .....I hope his new contract rumours are true.
Lost all credibility when I discovered use of the antiquated and ugly word ‘gotten’ ...virtually unused outside America. I have standards
State of some journalists these days - writing a story on someone that has just signed a new 5 year deal. At the very minimum Google search the bloke you are making **** up about!
These aren't what we would class as journos. I imagine most of the 'staff' on sites like this are working for free, pumping out content in the hope it leads to something better. Most pieces will be opinion based as they have no contacts and, as we've seen, can be very far fetched (often by design to drive traffic). It's a very successful model (for site owners) that operates across various sectors.
