Me personally? ... nowt ... apart from a quadruple heart bypass theoretically putting me in the vulnerable categories ... although I didn't get a letter from the government ... the missus did ...

... but my company is based close to St Pancras and they didn't want to risk the personnel travelling on London public transport to get into the office ... so adopted a work from home policy that is currently still in force ...

I'll pass on your observations ... but will also point out that you are probably pissed ... <cheers>

That’s exactly the sort of company you want to borrow money from.

People fall over themselves for those Transporters, so even a space shuttle mileage one like mine that needs a ton of work will still fetch attention.

The Skoda sounds good enough. Full service history, recent clutch and DMF, new egr, new cambelt. They are the major service issues on those VW/Audi based engines. I’ll have a look and see later.

not really interested in borrowing money, I make it a rule that if I can’t afford something, then I can’t have it unless I save up for it.

And tbh my cars are workhorses. Sand collecting, pissy wetsuit carrying, dog hair collecting, load luggers. It’s all country lanes and narrow streets down here, with big lumps of granite sticking out of the hedges.

I’d be too nervous to drive a shiny new 11.5k car for fear of scratching it <laugh>

I quite like a train journey too. Just yesterday’s was a long ass one because it all came to nothing. Other than being £100 lighter on my Wallet.

Surprised Portillo didn’t ask you for some weed. Reckon he’s a secret toker

Nope ... just got bored with your usual hollow angry mutterings and went to bed.

Worked harder in lockdown than in any time of my life tbh. Part of a skeleton leadership team that kept the business going through the worst of it with 80% of work force furloughed at one time... tough time for non grocery retailers. At one point all of our stores worldwide were closed leaving our only income from the e-commerce side.

... plus we are all minions to some degree ... Kevin <laugh>
