Answered? Sorry I have not seen any response explaining why/how it is within your powers or rights to do this. Whilst you are it explain why it would be acceptable to blanket ban a group based upon team allegiance but wouldn't based on race, sex, religion or sexual orientation?

I'd also like to point out that if you don't have time to respond quickly because you have lives how on earth do you think you will be able to find the time to moderate this new ruling?

 

**** it i am going to be honest here, its you and bart and cest that is spoiling this forum, not the Newcastle fans. by turning every thread into a **** off barrage.

 

This every time someone posts a thread the standard reply (from mackemsrule/cest) is '**** off' which then turns the whole thread into a slanging match.

 

And the very rare times that I have posted on your board, I have received the same kind of abusive replies from a number of your fans, so don't pretend that it is all one way mate..

 

There are idiots on both sides causing these problems. It is them the mods should be focusing on!

 

Yeah it happens on our board as well, but we haven't tried to ban all mackems from certain threads

 

You bloody Hypocrite !! You know as well as I do that the Newcastle Mods operate a blanket policy of censorship with all things Mackem, very few get through your net. And alas, this is one of the significant causes of this bad feeling at the mo, our Mods have been ultra liberal and tolerant with Newcastle posters on our forum, a policy which has not been repeated on the Newcastle boards

 

Any decent post gets through (ask sid) its the drivel from psycho and incest gets deleted

But here lies the problem...We have a handful of your fans who are posting, what many of our fans regard as utter drivel, on virtually every single thread...
I hate any kind of censorship, unless the comments contains sexist, racist or threats of violence, but this handful of fans is pissing a good number of posters off, and they have requested the mods to act on it...Bloody no win situation for them lads eh!

 

I have to say I have posted many a thread on the Newcstle board without any problem.

Oh, before anyone says yes but super mod, I had the same experience on BBC606.

 

I like the fact that the majority of us all get on but some responses are very vitriolic based purely on who you support and not the initial comment.

Sad state of affairs if it comes to this.

There are really good posters on both boards.

When I have had posts deleted they have most definitely been wind-ups, but not in any way sexist, racist or abusive...
The mods/mod just didn't like me taking the mick and deleted my posts...That is the reason I avoid their site these days.

 

I dont have a problem with mods deleting blatant wum comments from us mags, just dont ban every mag from the thread. Also if you have a problem with certain posters just use the ignore function.

 

Easy answer. We can read the "Mag free" threads. Then copy the drivel and start a new thread in answer to that thread. Geordies allowed threads.
