Over the few years we have both been posting on this Sunderland forum touching on and examining so many diverse and multiple topics -ranging from Law, World Politics, Warfare and Strife including the many threads on The Armed Forces, through to subjects of worldwide conflicts- to our thoughts on the vast acrimonious arguments within all aspects of Religious and Racial Issues; including contentious debates and thoughts on Islam and other religions; there's numerous post on themes within the various cultural subjects film and music, arts food and recipes. I can recall many threads looking and debating the merits of the medicinal use of Cannabis that has had many interesting arguments. I do not recall any Moderator applying censorship or moving of post/threads because they're outside of a posters likes, dislikes or ideologies. Or indeed being moved because the subject matter had been discussed somewhere else. When I moderated the only time I recall applying any censorship it was to do with victimisation and bullying of a poster that I removed a thread after I had to spoken to the poster and he apologised and agreed to it. If this forum has too many off-topic post regarding and upsets the equilibrium and becomes as you say 'tiresome' - it may have been a my mistake to return as maybe this forum isn't what I thought it was.
If a bit of political balance is needed I'll volunteer to pop round Starmer's gaff and take a ****e in his knicker drawers. Fair's fair.
I’m a none supporter of any of them but it cracks me up when the labour lovies come on and take the piss out of the Tories when they are probably supporting the biggest pile of s hite in labours history
My reckoning is that vast majority of all our (and indeed worldwide) [the] self - serving, inept and morally corrupt politicians should be shot with ****, all- of- em from the Extreme -Right-to the Far- Left and all across the political spectrum. I also reckon that all the Tory MP's deserve to be shot at least twice though...
You can criticise the Tories without complimenting or supporting Labour. Nobody seems to understand this ‘they’d have been worse’. A spade is a spade, regardless of how many different places sell spades.
Newcastle are crap. Yeah but Sunderland are worse.... Newcastle are still crap and Sunderland have no bearing on whether Newcastle are crap or not. Hope this helps.
Criticising poor decisions by the government isn't necessarily political, plenty of Tories have been doing that, even Members of Parliament. I had high hopes for the latest PM but he's not as good as Cameron or even May imo. I think this crisis would've been handled better by Cameron. He and May made mistakes but seemed sincere, Johnson appears to be a total fake and that's not 'bashing' him ... just saying it as I see it.
Hang on this been posted is a non- football thread? - bugger off and re-post that in a relevant Football section ...
Pretty grim breaking news of the first case of somebody having been co formed as catching it a second time. ****s all over the immunity route (bravo Boris and co...), and will slow down any progress on a vaccine made so far. The joys.
If I knew what? If you’re referring to ‘herd immunity’ I said at day one you cannot go down a herd immunity route until there is evidence to support it is plausible. I said early doors there’s no guarantee that you will become immune, as did many scientists and 3rd parties. I assume you refer to that part as the rest in just reporting news as it breaks. Again, just because there’s no proof that anyone else could have done better doesn’t mean we didn’t do a bad job. Throwing a Hail Mary on the off chance folk becomes immune isn’t smart, in anyone’s world. Paracetamol is good for headaches, you wouldn’t then think ‘sound it’ll fix my broken leg’
how is it the fault of Boris when we read every day of raves, beach gatherings, BLM protests, flights crammed together hundreds of illegals in dinghies all without wearing masks not to mention cultural weddings of 100 or so, but the fault lies with Boris well it's bollocks, tell me one thing constructive thats come out of Stammers mouth other than to slag off, when we all know he couldn't run a piss up based in Heineken. While the tories have been **** at some things, at least they are spot on at the task they were elected for brexit, The whole country knows we dodged a bullet if Corbint had been in charge. oh and May was a lying witch who tried to stich us with the worst deal of the century just so happens she owns a villa in France and loves holidays in Italy
My comment, to repeat yet again, had no comparison to Labour, Kier Starmer or anyone else. My comment was about following herd immunity before there was any evidence to support it worked, which we openly did before quickly backtracking, losing weeks of defence. Why everyone has to take it back, I couldn’t be any more clear this isn’t about Labour or Tory or anything else, it’s about ‘whoever is in charge’ making poor decisions which cost lives. My comment was about herd immunity being blown away as a potential solution, you don’t like Starmer, I couldn’t give a **** mate, I’m not a fan of any of them, just so happens Boris is the one who’s first move was to look for an immunity that wouldn’t have worked. Its got nothing to do with gatherings and raves that something that scientists advised couldn’t be relied on until we studied the virus has now been shown as a non starter. I haven’t said a single word about ‘Labour doing better’ not a jot. If I **** up in my job, I wouldn’t then say ‘some kid that failed his interview would do worse’. As my job gives me control over MY decisions, I am therefore responsible. Am I clear enough on that? It’s not Tory v Labour for me. It’s ‘decision maker v outcome’
Whilst i understand where you are coming from and should not have tagged your comment with my reply to which i apologise for, My reply should have been general to all the comments on Boris, i stand by what i said and defy anyone to pick holes in it
That’s fair mate and opinions are always of value, especially in a democratic country where folk can vote. I’m not looking at that in this instance though. I’m looking at what’s actually happened, and how we got there. Ive credited where due for the handling on the way back out, I wouldn’t withhold my disdain for what happened on the way in.
Boris Johnson ignored medical advice and in an act of crass stupidity shook the hands of Covid19 infected patients during a hospital visit (wanting a Lady Di aids patients style photo opportunity no doubt). He unsurprisingly contracted the virus. As did people who worked closely with him such as Health secretary Matt Hancock, chief medical officer Chris Witty, Health minister Nadine Dorries and Johnson's "adviser" Dominic Cummings. It is highly probable that Johnson passed on the disease to the others mentioned. So in effect the man in charge of organising the countries response to the pandemic not only ruled himself of doing his job but also most of the other people involved. Even Donald Trump, a man with the same IQ as an amoeba, isn't stupid enough to allow himself to be exposed to the risk of contracting this disease. Disclaimer: Jeremy Corbyn, Kier Starmer and any body connected to the Labour Party had nothing to do with Johnson contracting the virus.
I can’t comprehend that they are letting bailiffs loose as of today on folk who haven’t been able to pay council tex etc. How on earth can that be right? It staggers me that for all these schemes and such they didn’t allow families or low earners a council tax break, and now they gonna have folk at their doors chasing them down? The pressure low income households or households where someone has been furloughed or made redundant must be immense, so who on earth has decided that adding to that is gonna be constructive? Blows my mind, frankly.
whilst i respect you as a poster, you don't half talk **** when it comes to politics, every man and his dog knows you hate the tories with a vengeance by your input,i don't have a problem with that either, what i do have a problem with is your failure not to criticize labour for their mistakes. The example = how many labour politicians caught covid, as there is no mention of this from you
