My optimism springs from being told, without reserve, that an FPP legal representative was present.

I don't expect anyone to believe me, especially after I was made to look daft last time, but it makes me feel better.

It means, imo, that it wasn't to discuss football issues, wage caps, etc but is more likely to be financial.

As Donald is floundering financially, and unable to act without permission, that's encouraging.

In my business life in the past i've been involved in Take-overs acquisitions etc...and for much more money been talked about here, Looking back can't think of one that has been so protracted.. I can only only assume that Covid and/or Donald being a c unt is causing a delay as for the people looking to buy Sunderland (certainly the Americans) would have dealt with much more complex and financially challenge buy-outs than this one.

My initiation to all things Newcastle was the sight of my older cousin burning his shoes in the garden after the Ollie Burton testimonial 1973
He was a complete nutter mind. Traveled home and a way with the lads but refused to set foot in St James
Only went this once because we were parading the cup and rubbing their noses in it

There’s been coppers parked up at the entrance to the SOL and just along the road to the AOL over the last week and I’ve never seen that before either. And this landed earlier ;-)

I can assure you that after the game I arrested myself, slapped on the handcuffs and promptly took myself off to the nearest police station where I handed myself in, presented myself to the custody sergeant and had me charged with crimes against humanity. After insisting that I be found guilty in court I requested a jail sentence which, after good behaviour, I was released not that long ago despite my protestations that I should serve my full time.
Or I may have just taken the top home, washed it and give it back to the lad who lent it to me.

Don’t think you were made to look daft mate that was left to the idiots over the road acting like babies. You posted in good faith from what you heard but the decent people know things change all the time. Keep on posting without regret mate plenty of sensible posters on here.

The club would have to pay for the police presence so it can't be 'nowt' ...

... In my opinion I'd say its 'summat'.
