He’s a Conservative MP. @Gordon Armstrong @marcusblackcat Could we just create one ‘Conservative bashing’ thread, please? Then posters could just put their random pops at anything Conservative on there instead of creating threads to do so and cluttering up the football board with it. Or just merge it all on to the politics thread we’ve got somewhere on the board.
I doubt that people taking the mick counts as outraged. In any decent democracy there's a history of that, all PMs get it ... ... anyone who puts themselves up on a pedestal will have to expect a few potshots.
The post to which you refer did not mention which political party Bonko is a member of. It is actually non political and just highlights the man's behaviour in his personal life. People can then make an informed opinion on the character of said man.

The OP finds him despicable, that's just his opinion tbh. As you know the photo isn't the issue, it's the implication the the PM is off shagging anything that moves while the country's falling apart. I
I am not in the least outraged. I can quite easily believe that a man with 6 children to 3 different women, and who is being sued by his wife (who is incidentally undergoing cancer treatment) for adultery is having his 3rd extra marital affair, 2 of which resulted in children being born. Just hope, for her sake, the violinist is using contraceptives. Because Johnson obviously doesn't.

Be as you say be 'outraged' and take the 'mick' Yes, I consider Johnson to be a despicable ****, he has shown how despicable he is with his 'take it on the chin' attitude to pandemic and his 'hiding in fridges' and similar behaviour since to avoid any political scrutiny. He thoroughly deserves to be ridiculed IMHO. Is he shagging a violinist? I honestly don't care it wouldn't surprise me either way. I thought the post had some relevance and subtle humour as the news media had been asking where he is! As an aside, I would also be interested in how many anti Corbyn piss-take threads and comments got moved/merged into a thread by a Moderator (Most likely the Tory one at that ) to a thread that had no relevance to the OP post. As some of you may know, I did moderate on here for a couple of years in a different guise (Paradiddles). I certainly would not have moved a thread because it went against of my personal/ political ideologies and certainly would not be moving someones post without speaking to them first. I thought this forum was about free speaking and not just about football. It was the one of the reasons that I returned. I'm not a huge fan of football and had mentioned that so many times. Though, I'm a fan of banter and discourse about many topics. I also thought it was to be diverse forum and openly encouraged by many to be that way. - Maybe I was wrong with that assumption? If so I can happily move on again and take my incorrect assumptions and opinions with me.
We have generally always kept same subjects to one thread. You started another thread about exam results which was purely to bash the Conservative party. Given you praised the Scottish government and hammered the Conservatives for doing exactly the same thing on exam results, proves that, IMO. We have a takeover rumour thread and any gossip about the takeover all goes into that one thread. I don’t see why these political posts/threads aimed at the Conservatives should be any different and why they can’t all go into one thread. Everybody has a right to express their opinions on politicians/political parties but when it’s right across the board it becomes tiresome when most of us vote but don’t really give a ****e about politics most of the time. If it’s in one thread then people who want to post and visit on that subject/bashing can do so and the rest of the people who don’t can keep away from the thread.
