And rummenigge and the Bayern mob hate PSG and Man City as they see them gatecrashing a private party and want them stopping so they can hoover all the money up. I’ve no love for PSG, why would I, but the Germans don’t give a **** about competition they want to carve up the champions league until its a private members club and they can pick who comes in it.
Just shows the pathetic nature of England's influence on world football domination in that case. When in Rome and all that ?
Honestly, I'm with Chazz here. Bayern and PSG have dominated their domestic leagues, I'm not sure what English domination globally has to do with that?
"...control in the corridors of power at Eufa to stop any clubs breaking into the little clique at the top in Europe." Chazz - 40 min ago - the post I responded to. I probably should have just said "What" ?
See my response to Quill above. Where's you're argument/evidence for Bayern to have over-influence in EUFA ?
Rude ? Clearly miscommunication somewhere. Your "What ?" response was curt. A polite question 'What do you mean ?" or "Can you explain ?" may have been more appropriate. If you were offended, I apologise, but it was certainly not intended. Funny this old English language - how easily it can be misinterpreted.
HT 0-0 Cancelled each other out. Though both could easily have scored (and PSG definitely should've) That pen shout at the end - seen them given, even by VAR.
I’d say go and read Martin samuels articles on the elite in Europe and how they want to carve up the champions league. You heard of coefficient ratings? So clubs with a better history in the competition get more money than a newcomer even if they go out earlier? bit of insurance for clubs like Bayern if they have a bad year. If wolves had have won the Europa league they would have broken ffp so would have had a squad of two less players as a punishment Next season in the champions league. They don’t want competition they want the same little clique in it all the time.
They should get the European super league thing up and running, all the top clubs can bugger off and play on their own and leave the rest to get on with it.
I don't dispute any of what you say Chazz. My point was why can't the English Football Governing bodies rise above all that corruption and do what they (meaning the English, not the FA) supposedly are world renowned for- that is fairness. It's the usual reasons - money & the rich get richer. Edit: Just seen balkan's response to you. I must say, I sympathise with his opinion, yet wonder what the impact on the game in general would be ?
