Barcelona have spent nearly £900million on new players in the five years since they last won the Champions League in 2015 but their recruitment has been spectacularly poor.
Of that £900million, £374million was spent on FOUR players - Philippe Coutinho, Ousame Dembele, Frenkie De Jong, and Antoine Griezmann, three of which have been major disappointments for them, while De Jong has been quite decent from all accounts.
I wasn’t comparing Coutinho to Vidal based on position. I was comparing on their general competence as a footballer, which for the avoidance of doubt - Vidal has very little.
Decent game tonite. Man U need to take those chances. And nice not to have to endure those irritating Scouse co-commentators.
For those who care, the Europa League final is about to start, and is free on BT Sport's youtube channel. Hoping Inter win personally.
I think Sevilla have always worn black socks, haven't they? They have for the past few seasons, at least.
They have. But Inter with White socks just makes it look the wrong way around. Inter wear black or blue socks normally.
Sevilla are the 'home' side though, so I imagine they got choice. I'm amazed Inter are in their home kit, to be honest - usually they force teams to wear away/third kits even when there isn't a clash.
Bit weird to support a team with professional diver Neymar in it that is state-sponsored by the Saudis instead of the 'cheating' Germans... Come on Bayern. The much lesser of two evils.
Bayern are just far more underhand in their domination of the bundesliga. No teams in Germany can compete. What is it 8 consecutive titles now? Buy the best players of any team that rival them year after year. control in the corridors of power at Eufa to stop any clubs breaking into the little clique at the top in Europe.
PSG are no better when it comes to league domination, they've won 7 of the last 8 league titles and have won 4 trebles in that time as well.
