Schools, colleges and universities don’t promote any ideologies, or they shouldn’t.

That’s a student group. They probably have a Mussolini society too, where you could feel at home.

Marx is widely respected as a historian and an economic theorist, by academics across the political spectrum. It would be impossible to study 19th or 20th Century history without reference to Marx’s ideas, just as it would be impossible to study classical history without reference to Herodotus or Livy. Marx was an avid student of Livy’s histories of the Roman Republic, and got a lot of his ideas from Livy. Livy was no egalitarian radical, quite the opposite.
