It’s rather amusing flicking through the comments before this page. Obviously just skip 50 pages at a time because it seems to be the same few deluded cretins posting. https://www.not606.com/threads/takeover-covid-19-20.383026/page-976 Is that real
I have to apologise for doubting how much Wor Rafa loved the Mags ... ... he's backing their support for the Saudis by wearing a towel "Rafa Benitez struggling in China as his side fall to the BOTTOM of their League with no wins - and he's wearing a towel." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8647557/amp/Rafa-Benitezs-Dalian-Pro-fall-BOTTOM-group-Chinese-Super-League.html?__twitter_impression=true
Never thought of opening a horse riding school and a boxing gym next door, would be a match made in heaven on Tyneside, especially after a heavy defeat, you could make a fortune....

I've never taken LSD but, when I just watched that, I thought Mrs Smug had slipped something into my cornflakes. Seriously, when will these people grow up ... ... accusing the PL of bribery and corruption man, they've cracked.
I seen the other day that the PL have their supporters trust a meeting, day with them, explained the breakdown, and that the supporters trust fully accepted and understood all of the reasons it happened. They didn’t bother really pushing out that they’d been appeased.
It's like with the Benitez saga, few dare break ranks and go against the Nation ... ... so they just allow these mentalists to continue embarrassing themselves.
Good grief! He's the sad sack who was in tears about Bruce wasn't he! Allardyce was slaughtered for 'unattractive football' but Benitez has given Bruce a bye. The Mags worshipped him but the football was absolutely dreadful ...
OK, joke over now lads. To the clowns at 'The Mag' posing as journalists, ffs give it up. You're embarrassing yourselves, the decent Mags and the NE in general. This latest effort is pitiful. Let me explain something to you and I'll take care to keep it simple to help you grasp it. NUFC were never the big story, it was the Saudis plain and simple. No matter which club was involved, from Crystal Palace to Bournemouth, the story would've been the same. You're not 'more than just a club', you're just another club. To explain the general point it's the same as the people who were poisoned in Salisbury. Most people couldn't name the victims but they could name the poison and the country it came from. Just like the journalist hacked to death by the Saudis, you couldn't spell the victim's name without checking but you know exactly who was accused of his murder. No one, outside the NE, cares about Newcastle, either the club or the city. For pity's sake stop believing your own deluded fantasies. That was proved, beyond doubt, when you tried to get clubs like Brighton to join in your 'net spend' protests and they laughed at you. Come on lads, enough is enough ... ... Time to grow up now, you just look like silly little boys. "Newcastle United were the story of the summer. Indeed, this football club pretty much single-handedly kept the football media going throughout lockdown and beyond. The media couldn’t get enough of us, politicians as well. It wasn’t just local media, it wasn’t just national media, indeed it wasn’t just worldwide sports media, Newcastle United were more than just a football story." https://www.themag.co.uk/2020/08/as...nited-this-broadcast-decision-is-so-symbolic/
Rewriting history as well. It was hardly covered. Day it broke was a fair bit, understandable in close season, the odd update about delays etc, then a big story when it collapsed. It didn’t dominate anything. It wasn’t everywhere. It got about the right amount of coverage as and when there was a development. It was indeed debated on Sky, a day or 2 after the season ended when there was no other reporting to be done. They covered the NBA walkout for a full day on Thursday, is that because the Milwaukee Bucks are a commodity of value to English sports reporters or because there was literally nothing else happening. I can tell you why they have zero games in the first wave. They are awful to watch and have been for years, and the viewing figures for their games, and therefore the advertising revenue, is low. Suck it up you boring bastards.
