Or as a pal of mine once said on finding himself in a gay bar, 'if you drop your wallet in here you'd better kick it home'.

I recall a few years ago, being in a pub that was frequented by gays (as opposed to being a gay bar) and talking to a few of them, they asked my view, and I said I had no problem, but it would feel uncomfortable if they started chatting me up. I got quite indignant at his response, which was 'what makes you think they'd fancy you?' :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Or as someone once said to me as we entered a gay bar in Amsterdam. 'Backs to the wall. It may get nasty, but we're going in.'

I remember queuing outside when it was on Spring Bank, and crying with laughter as two transvestites got into a right bitch fest over dresses. Funny how it just was what it was then, before it became the big issue it's become today...but that's not really for this board.

The sound of the cat on bare buttock was great. I can still hear it now!

HDM reporting that if guilty he's looking at 3 years in jail or he can pay £90k instead, half a weeks wages they reckon.

The fine must be an algorithm based on annual salary, otherwise most miscreants would end up in gaol ?

I think it's based on so much a day but I don't know how they set the daily rate.

The daily amount is set by the judge, €5 minimum to €100 maximum, the mooted £90k is based on him paying the maximum for a 2 1/2 year sentence.
