Its fair enough, just a shame some of the mackems are taking the current turn in fortunes to heart.....

How will the people wanting to post on mag free forums feel if Sunderland go on a ten match unbeaten run and Newcastle lose ten on the belt?? Want to post on the NUFC board? I would think so. Want the mags to "debate/bite" of course..... If you can give it you should take it

Man up. Fans are quick to stick the boot in when things are the other way around, i will have no doubt the tables will turn again, hopefully not any time soon though.

If it keeps the sad few happy fair play, i hope the majority keep it open, save from NUFC there is no other teams board i look at other than the mackems. The banter between us is one of the main reasons i am on here anyway.

I will echo what many have said, but it needs saying. Most of the time I've posted on here I've been called a "thick mag ****" and told to "**** off". It's a real shame because I've had some
decent crack with a few of you on this board! If you read through all the threads that have just ended in sheer abuse and threats of violence, I'm pretty sure you'll find a few common denominators...

Total ****e mate..The fact that your mods were so quick to delete SAFC fans posts, is one of the reasons why I stopped my already rare contributions to the Skunk board..

I am curious as to how you'll know said comment is from a Mag. If I posted on a 'Mag free' thread with a sensible comment, no signature etc how could you stop me, and more importantly, why? Seems a bit daft really, if you've got WUMs, ban them. I for one certainly wouldn't mind the loss of Joker...

Also, surely this is just bait to the saddos among both teams support to post in Mag Free threads, and a massive ballache for you lot to moderate it?

I must admit, on my rare excursions to your board, i was not given grief at all, mind my intention wasn't to hack people off.

This decision hasn't been taken lightly, and personally i would have preffered it, if people who are more sensitive or pissed off, had just took to using the ignore function..

I know i harp on about this function, but it is there for a reason, so as we never had to have debates like this, or action taken, everyone had their own power to pick and choose, posters who somewhat disrupt threads, could just be blocked by them.

I notice that none of the moderators have responded to my question regarding their having the authority or right to do this.

Been a while since I read the forum rules but i'm pretty sure that their wasn't a rule saying that the mods could forbid a specific group of users from posting on certain threads or to remove sensible posts made by them. Is there a "mods have the right to curb free speech rule" and I just didn't see it?

Sorry but this is a total misuse of power by the mods. Who is regulating them?

The fact is that the same characters are on here non-stop with the derogatory comments against SAFC, which inevitably turns the threads into abusive slanging matches...This has forced a lot of supporters to turn their backs on the site because it does get boring after a while....
Pesrsonally, I will not be using the option for any threads that I start, but I can also see why the mods have come to this decision...

I understand the difficult position the mods are in and I respect the job they are doing. Personally I happen to like all the mods on this board as well but I just can't see how they can justify this suggestion.

I have never visited here to give abuse but I have always without fail received abuse from a number of users purely for being a Mag. The blame lies with a number of your fans too.

I agree that there are also a number of NUFC fans who go too far in their willingness to come over here and abuse and give stick, but surely it is only fair to target the individuals responsible and not tar the whole of the NUFC support with the same brush.

Surely if the mods of both boards were to work together to tackle the trouble makers something could be done to improve the situation without having to resort to such a draconian and unfair blanket ban?

Another point I made which was ignored. Imagine the uproar if they attempted to ban a group of users on any other basis than which team they support?

Well, they aren't. Believe it or not, I can make a critical point without trying to stir up ****.

If you believe it's wumming, then that's YOUR problem. Not mine. Some mackems are perfectly capable of taking what I say at fair value and replying in a decent fashion to argue against what I've said. If they can do it but you can't, then it's your problem.

This .............. is a wee bit sad, init?

Basically a large part of you is putting their hand up stating that you cannot take the craic anymore. Wow, talk about men. It's just poking fun. Might I remind everyone that Newcastle indeed got relegated, sold all their best players, had the messiah walk out, had a clown as manager, followed by a pundit followed by some bizarre nonsensical board decisions to sack. Sold our geordie nr 9 cult hero etc etc etc.

Now you boys have made a poor start to the season and are cracking up?

The only term i can think of is 'soft'. Plushy, soft, fluffy, soft. Soft, soft soft.

But I commend anyone for admiting and revealing their true feelings because it's better to let it out then keep it pent up inside.
