OK, let's keep it going, no problem. You've mentioned two organisations have donated money for overseas work ... ... how much did they donate specifically for overseas work? I'm quite informed otherwise I wouldn't feel so strongly ... I don't believe your argument stacks up.
I have given your the info you requested, I don’t give a shiny shyte if you don’t think it stacks up, the facts are there. I can only assume you wish to continue the discussion in the hope you don’t get called out for the £20. You won’t, I’m not in the frame to look for an online Barney with you, carry on picking fights with people, personally I think you need to chill some beans before you keel owa. goodnight
bollocks Zanzibar is part of Tanzania as all former colonies like Kenya they speak English and Swahili, THEY ARE A CHRISTIAN country, if you want a muslim country go further up the coast to Somalia, and see how the charities operate there, oh they dont thats right as charities as **** scared of operating there i wonder why, surely it's not because they are muslim and think the world owes them a living if they can't steal one.

Pathetic response tbh, lose an argument so resort to claiming I'm drunk. You claimed people wanted their money to go abroad and can't prove what you've said. So you resort to Internet standards like 'sweetcheeks' and 'goodnight' which actually means you don't have an answer. You wanted to discuss it at length but, now you can't support your claim, suddenly have to rush away. I've seen it all before ....
learn how to read and digest Tanzania is a christian country with a lot of diversity same as kenya, Zanzibar is an island with more christian people than muslim most mixed marriages tend to change to christian, I have spent a lot of time there and Dar el Salam just because years ago it was owned by the sultan its not now. there are thousands of Somali refugees in Kenya Kakuma camp there are over 3 million who won't go back and UN wont help they live in hope that Canada or America will take them so they can be like ilhan Omar
Dear me, it’s no wonder you get called, you wanted answers I’ve given you them, just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean they are wrong. Bailing on the £20, embarrassing
You haven't so I'll repeat it. You claimed people wanted their donations to go abroad. How much was donated that people wanted spending abroad? I've donated large amounts to the Lowery fund and donated £5 on here this evening to some lad ... ... don't be so cheap to accuse me of bailing. Prove what you've claimed and I'll pay within seconds.
Read the link ffs. As for how much, why not email the RNLI and ask? I really don’t know nor care about that, we get what we need. I’m on call now so I’ll bid you another farewell
But you insisted you did know and had given me the answer ... ... the truth is you don't have a clue what your bosses are doing. You couldn't answer my question so answered one of your own choice.

I recently discovered the list below of the charities with the highest paid staff in the country and it makes for very distressing reading. As a matter of policy, the Ten-Percent Foundation will not be donating to any charity in future that pays a CEO or equivalent more than £75,000, which we believe is a reasonable wage to be paying a decent manager or director involved in a non-profitable and charitable venture. Royal National Lifeboat Institution £130k-£140k This is quite horrifying to discover. I cannot believe that in this day and age a charity needs to pay a salary at this kind of level to attract someone 'good' to the role of CEO or to head up a particular part of a charity. I think that charities ought to be made to print the statement on any of their literature to say that any donations made will pay for staff salaries, with a note of the highest salary being paid. This way the general public can make an informed decision on whether or not to donate to a particular charity. Especially when all of its workers are volunteers apart from the CEO
I can assure you I am not racist never have been never will be , most people will not be aware that 2% is not being spent on what we would have expected it to be and should not have to go on to web sites to discover this . What lifesaving expertise does the money donated by the public provide overseas , only 2% as you put it is a lot of money and would be quite useful at this moment in time when fundraising is stalling . People have donated willingly but it would be better if it was spent for the purpose intended and the buttons as you put it would go some way to making up the shortfall .
Rnli Slammed For Spending Millions On Foreign aid //Bosses last week warned the lifeboat charity is facing “some major challenges” after making losses of £6.3million last year. But donations to the service are being spent on creches in Bangladesh and swimsuits for Muslim women in Tanzania. Tory MP Nigel Evans, who sits on the Commons International Development Committee, said the charity is putting its reputation at risk. He added: “I would say 99 per cent of the British public giving them money do not have the faintest idea it’s diverted to projects overseas.”// https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9934323/rnli-slammed-foreign-aid-slashing-jobs/ This is one charity I thought was struggling and really needed the money to continue its excellent work around our shores. I certainly wasn’t aware that a proportion of my donations are going overseas. Will this information put this charity’s reputation at risk?

I stopped donating to the RNLI when I learnt that. It is unacceptable that a charity pays managers that much whilst relying on volunteers please log in to view this image Sorry to hear you've stopped donating. Our Chief Executive (who started in May last year) is paid a £160,000 a year. I want to know that my donations are spent into equipment, maintenance and running costs, rather than in the pockets of some fat cat. RNLI could find lots of well qualified people who could do the same job as volunteers or at cost.
