Well actually they did. So much so they had one of their, now famous, internal investigations into their, nothing to do with them, boys club and found that what they were told was happening was all "scurrilous accusations". So scurrilous that there have now been NINE men convicted of *****philia charges connected to CFC and CBC to date. Others are being processed through the legal system as we speak.

I said solicitors acting for child abuse victims would rather settle than put their clients through the ordeal of recounting their abuse in a courtroom. And rightly so.

You said that solicitors put NO effort into a case when the case is settled out of court.

The scurrilous accusations were made by a former Boys Club employee in a Sunday newspaper and not actual victims.

Celtics name was dragged into it so they responded.

Nobody came forward at the time to support the accusations.

This is unfortunate but what more could be done by a third party?

I said a settlement REQUIRES NO EFFORT and I've proven this to be the case.

 

The people who made the scurrilous accusations were many and varied. It was an "open secret" according to ex Celtic managers, coaches and even Ceasar. The internal investigation by Celtic spearheaded by people who were employed and financially enriched by Jim Torbett's trophy centre allowed Torbett to reek havoc on the children of Celtic boys club for at least another 10 years.

Celtic's name was all over it that's why they had an INTERNAL investigation into an entity they now claim was separate.

So you only read one Sevcoing blogger, kid on Irish man Phil and yet you posted verbatim the words of another Sevcoing blogger that you claim you've never read!. OK then!

But you haven't have you. Even the most "nefarious" of solicitors would have to put at least some effort into securing a settlement. It doesn't matter how many times you repeat your stupid statement it doesn't make it any less stupid. In fact...quite the opposite.

Why wouldn't Celtic demand answers from a Charity they support over allegations?

If they found something wrong they'd dump the charity.

They were also the people who signed multi million pound contracts for the Trophy centre to supply your club with plastic trophies whilst Celtic park was crumbling around their ears and full houses were being reported in the papers as 20 000 attendances.
