    have a read of this...

In my opinion Charles would have been a class signing for us but I like him agree that the right wing is his best position. In the last couple of season's it seems as though the trend is for wingers to play on the opposite flank and allowed to get the ball and run inside with the full back offering the width on the overlap. Look at Downing, Gutierres, Young and Johnson for example

For me if N'Zog had came to us I would of played him on the right but would Brucie? After the signings of Larsson and Elmohamady this season I doubt it.

Take Sess for example I don't think this playing behind the striker is working as we don't have the creativity from the other midfielders to get ahead of him and create the little pockets of space for him to work his magic. For me I would play Sess on the left with Richardson at left back offering the natural width

the reason we wanted him was cos we needed a LW - if he doesnt want to play there then I am glad we didnt buy him.

Maybe that is why Bruce decided against? Bruce said he wanted him for the left side, Zog said "prefer not to" Bruce said "No thanks"

I think this is a very good point, while we are all banging on about a natural LW maybe we should be looking at an attacking full back with a left foot and an attacking LW cutting in. In which case Sess and Ricco are perfect. Richardson still needs to work on his defending but I do think he is getting better, having Brown next to him is helping him IMO.

    So for sat

    Migg
    Oshea Tina Brown Richardson
    Larsson Catts Gardener Sess
    Bendtner Wickham

I think we need catts sitting and Gardener getting forward for this to work so Catts can cover the full backs getting forward.

could even go 3 at the back
    mgg
    Brown Tina Oshea
    Larsson Catts Gardener Sess Ricco
    Bendtner Wickham

agreed, we need as many attacking options as possible and with Sess able to come inside or go outside and Richardson offering the natural width taking the full back away and creating that little bit of space for Sess and the strikers we will see more chances. Its just a shame we don't have a proper goalscorer who can make the run and Sess can play them in or go for goal himself. Benty would be ideal (shame he's a ****) hope its true and we are going after Demba Cisse in Jan as he would play the role perfectly, once he comes back from the ACN that is.

Agreed Poolie, it makes you realise how much Gyan has screwed up our start to the season. I am betting what you have said was Bruce's plan.

Lets hope we get someone in on the 1st of Jan who can be the goal scorer, in the meantime Whickham or Ji should be given the chance.

N'zobia & Sess switching flanks would have put the ****s up any full-backs, no doubt the rumours will start up again in january if he continues his poor form.

I think Jnr Hoilette would be a good buy in January if Blackburn are still struggling, hes left footed as well.

LAS V,,,,, did Gyan screw us up? did Bent screw us up? did Cana screw us up? can we add Henderson to this list, and did he screw us up? no, the club is screwing us up. too many similarities for my liking, far too many.
