They ticked a few boxes for me in terms of having a plan, a style of play that the gaffer wants, signing the appropriate players to fit into it and also using performance data more in the recruitment. Hopefully it pays off
They also said the salary cap has stopped them in their tracks and they had to change tac .. I don't care what you think I enjoyed it .

Is it legally enforceable? I would have thought if clubs challenged it it would be suspended until it went through the courts.
Its beyond belief that they weren't doing that in the first place. That is the absolute basic that should be being done.

There are so many things about the club that have been like this though. Completely neglectful management not just of the playing side but, recruitment of youngsters, retention of them and the list goes on. I would love to know what could’ve been achieved if we had been run like Everton say?? Probably a comparable club size wise but on a different level when it comes to professionalism.

Completely different level of professionalism. As in, there is some. I know semi-pro clubs who have got a better recruitment system than we've apparently had.
was nice to see 4 blokes with at least some affinity to the club as those things usually run along a 'make the right soundbites in public' scenario. they really seem to be taking a damn good look at recruitment and were not scared to say how lacking the club had been in recent years, the salary cap bollox appears to have made a huge dent in early plans, sooner the whole thing is changed the better.
