I think you'll find it's just the age difference mate. It happens sometimes, seen it before in real life. No one is right, no one is wrong, it's just what it is bro. I've never served, but I get the impression from what i've seen, ex services sometimes can tend to be less tolerant, and a younger guy, don't have the empathy, that someone my age might. I will always stand my ground, even be outspoken at times, but once all is said and done, we return to the social norm (empathy, the ability to understand and share the feelings of another). The only difference here to real life, was the ex service put the younger guy out with a glasgow kiss, and lost his job as a result. #TrueStory
