We will be going down the pan anyway, might as well so it in an entertaining way, being ran by an absolute loon
Last time I was in it was karaoke night. The queer bunch that got up to 'sing' could very well prove David Icke's lizard people claim.
There’s a bit of a bullying mentality going on with yaself, mad Bob, prehab and rubberface as targets. They might dress it up as “facts”, debate or banter but the constant digs and name calling is just that. I didn’t really focus so much on the info Bob gave due to the cryptic nature and contradictions but I would never call him a liar because what the hell do I know. My opinion is other you take it or leave it. Don’t fixate on it whether you believe it or or not as things can change fast after the info is given and it’s not the info providers fault. I could have summed all this up with Live and let Live but ah what the hell
A lot of it is quite simply jealousy imo. The folk who bitch and moan wish they were privvy to some info themselves. Like when they come out with the PM bollocks. They might make out it's in jest but secretly hoping the notification pops up for their inbox.
You're right. But hey, my bet is still that Elis Short comes back in for 10%. I made that one up by myself too , The thing is, lots of converging rumours converging on something happening, followed by rumours of a delay due to price and Donald being isolated. I believe all this due to the track record of the various posters. And clearly whether or not this all completes is down to one person agreeing to it. We just have to wait and see (and post guesses on the internet in the meantime
Sorry like but the Madbob stuff is infuriating. Him and his pals derail every thread with unadulterated made up ****e.
The supposition is that Donald is the villain for not being willing to accept a lower offer, but it may not be the only sticking point,if indeed it is. There are others involved here.....Methven has to agree to sell his shares to someone for a price, guaranteed to not be as high as Donalds',and then there's Sartori, with his 20%. Most have made the assumption, based on Magnus info,.that Sartori would be part of the purchasing consortium, maybe including his family, but that would presumably depend on what his position will look like after the deal is done with Donald? There are a lot of moving parts to this, and it may be that Donald is not the only source of procrastination. Whilst I'm like everyone else here and thoroughly sick and tired of the whole thing,it's the proximity to the start of what is going to be a very significant season for us,which is concerning. We need stability and a general collective purpose off the pitch, but, more importantly,on it. There is too much going on at the minute for us to get that, imho, and we need to get off to a good start if we're to stand a chance of getting out of this league next May.
Not that I can repeat except that more talks, with the same people, have been arranged for next week. That's a fact BTW, not a stalling tactic from me. 3 different people have told me so they won't know who it is if they check to see if I've blabbed
Yep - all great points. But can't Donald agree to sell his shares to Furhman without any agreement with Sartori and Methven? I'm not an expert on this so I may be wrong, and clearly a deal they all agreed to would be better and possibly would be insisted on by Furhman (assuming that it is Furhman by the rumour). More worrying to me is that we appear to be still buying players. This leads me to think that they do intend to stay here until they get their price and that the 'nothing imminent' clan maybe right until the bid is upped to what is deemed acceptable.
We need a couple ****ing players in right now. The season is looming large and we are short. Regardless if he’s selling or not he needs to look after the main part of his asset, the ****ing first team.
Don't think Fuhrman would be keen on acquiring some of the shares and then left with a couple of other shareholders he can't get rid of. Yes, we do seem to be trying to get some players in,which,of course we desperately need, but I think they have no choice in that. If we don't recruit and we end up in the bottom half dozen in this league after the opening 5 or 6 matches,no-one will have a chance to sell for anywhere near the money they might want.
End of August has been alluded to for a while. Here’s hoping the talks next week are the final hurdle.
