I dont condone personal insults like, plus I dont know how personal they can be on a message board with little personal info made available.

Intentionally or not, the reality is with your posts you have led people to believe a take over is going to happen or is in the pipeline. Perhaps you have just passed on your info in good faith, which many believe as I have seen them thank you for passing it on, others are going to scrutinise and call your bluff on things mate due to it collapsing last year. If that's something you cannot comprehend, keep your info to yourself mate and dont post. The back and forth between the two board is damn right pathetic anyway. We should all be on the same side.

Having started lurking on both here and RTG, I’m finding the petty stuff between the boards to be utterly bewildering. There’s obviously tonnes of history I’m not aware of but both “sides” seem to be accusing the other side of exactly the same stuff regarding cliques and whinging about each other.

You’d think it were rival clubs.

I pointed out the irony that you made a joke about breaking news then immediately said you don’t like attention.

I don’t think you’re lying whatsoever, in fact I’m desperate for you to be right, and you seem very genuine.

Again, I don’t know the history and I’m sure you’ve dealt with many a dickhead, but the way you’ve reacted to me and called me whatever you want whilst moaning about people giving you abuse is just ridiculous.

 

Smug you're right - people will double check on Sky or BBC to get the news on whatevers happened if/when it's confirmed - I know I would. But it's also good when posters like yourself and Magnus post snippets of what you've heard. It does get people excited and maybe wanting it all to be finalised yesterday and I suppose I'm one of those people. But the main reason we all come on to places like this is to pick up bits of info on the club we all love, no matter how big or small. I have no problem with any info people post, you read what is posted and if it comes off fantastic, if it doesn't then it doesn't. Keep up the banter everyone, it's good to read and sometimes shows how us as fans can interact with each other. Here's hoping to some brilliant news soon and the start of a something special at the club.

 

people know what smug is like and come on here to deliberately antagonise him so he reacts. However the mods on here can see through this. He shouldn't rise to it, as he is giving them what they want. That isn't to say he shouldn't be challenged on opinions but there is a way of doing it. His posts are being twisted to suit an agenda and to claim he is unchallenged and protected is ****e, in my opinion like. And by the way, I am quite capable of judging people myself, I don't need people telling me who I shouldn't trust or be called a hoop licker. There just doesn't seem to be anything down the middle
He can be a narky bastard and takes things out of context, I've been on the receiving end of that, I am sure he will admit it himself. However we all have tolerance levels and once reached who knows what happens.

I don't look at deadlines. This Friday, Next Friday. There's enough good info out there to convince me that something good is going to happen.
It will happen when it happens. Although I'll be getting twitchy if the season starts and SD is still around.
I don't think he will be though.
