Tomorrow is the end of the 14 day notice period for the three EFL test failures to be gone. If Elliott gets his injunction, that might mean the EFL may consider him not to be gone? They could decide to take further action, maybe including withdrawing Charlton's licence to play in the football leagues.
Cut and pasted from the play ground: It’s widely recognised by 99.9% of our fanbase that Dodger has done an excellent job in forcing ESI out of our club. WTF is dodger, and how did he rid us of ESI when all the powers that be couldn't?
Dodger is a Charlton fan who has the means and (apparently) the connections to take direct action when necessary in defence of CAFC. He has taken some action against members of ESI. I know nothing of him beyond that. Almost all that I know about him comes from Charlton fans' forum ITTV, where the administrator Reams and another member Terrible Syrup (Royston) are very supportive of Dodger and the actions he and a few other Charlton fans have been taking against Chris Farnell (ESI's ex-lawyer). I understand there are some Charlton supporters who are less supportive of Dodger. Why they don't like him, I don't know. There seems to be much internal politics involved. Much argument and controversy about Dodger has been happening on social media so I understand, but I never look at social media so I know nothing of these arguments. You'll only find out more about Dodger by looking for him on social media and reading posts on other Charlton fans' forums.
I don’t know dodger but I think what he done is commendable however I feel now is the time to let TS rough ESI up and get shot of them once and for all. Well done Dodger for all that you have done sir
Dodge is a good man he has done a lot to highlight our situation to a lot of people, plus a family member of a former manager absolutely hates him so Dodge is one of the good guys in my book
This is ridiculous. If there is no injunction to stop ESI being sold until 1st September, why not just get the sale done before then. Or does an injunction merely applied for have the same force as one already granted? That doesn't make much sense to me. But I'm not a lawyer.
Cheers lardiman, I ain't on twitter or FB so hence the mystery. Still don't see though how he got rid of ESI, 'cos if he did surely Sandgaard would have the deal all wrapped up. I'm gussing it's the youngsters that know Dodger, I'm fast approaching my 65th year as an addick, so well out of touch with the politics. To be honest, we've always had **** owners, just some are ****tier than others.
DickPlumb on ITTV saying now that Sandgaard has been talking things up too much. The deal is not done, and may not be for some time. All kinds of other possibilities lurk now - most of them very bad ones. What a pisser. Feels like it's going to be a misearble weekend.
I have to say, everyone seems uptight that Sandgaard may not be as quick buying us as he said, and it may muck up our pre season and even the opening fixtures. But that was how it looked since June- there was a horrible prospect of us winking out of existence. That seems to have rescinded ( a bit) and the Danish guy seems like good news (unlike AHLL'S mate Derek). Hold your nerve people it was never going to be an easy summer.
Sandgaard has been talking as if the sale will go through. I'm willing to stick my neck out and say the deal will go through.....eventually.
Not sure how much money the Dane has, his company (zenica) only turned over $30M last year, and he is listed as earning a salary of $1M (including bonuses). Surely not enough to fund a failing football club that's on its knees?
