Pretty much said that (apart from the dressing room “banter” part)... also said it’s nothing to celebrate or trivialise. Two cheeks of same arse.

Celtic paid an out of court settlement to one victim of McCafferty. Unfortunately they decided to take that victim all the way to the courts before caving in.

Fact is, apart from Lawwell the current regime have nothing to do with what happened in the past. Their behaviour though has left them culpable. As are the current Rangers regime for their behaviour towards a victim. The whole thing stinks to the heavens and only a full scale independent inquiry led by someone from outside the Scottish political and legal system can put this to rest.

 

Maybe some do but then again all who raise their head above the parapet are labled with that brush. Anyone who dares mention the biggest sporting scandal ever to hit this country is branded a bigot, revelling in child abuse. That's exactly what the nonces want, silence. They don't want their perversion talked about. The treatment of Michelle Grey and her mother from Celtic supporters has been a disgrace for instance.

It is any solicitors job to do what's best for their clients. No solicitor would choose to take a victim of child abuse through the trauma of a courtroom.
