From New Years eve to New Years day according to a rumour going around on twitter and mentioned by Roker Report.

I mentioned this a while back that I thought it was odd for games to be played on new years eve and would be delighted if this rumour is true.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

Similar, working nye but off nyd. I'm hoping a shock win might blast off a massive hangover.

But we've got Wigan on the 2nd. How's that going to work out?

It would seem odd switching two rounds of games, poor organization?

Be bad for me as I'm working on New Years Day afternoon!! Have a gig in Great Lumley!!

Although this may be good for Sunderland and the rest of you as the only game I haven't watched so far this season is the Stoke game...

I think this has happened before.

Games are scheduled for 31st Dec (Sat) and 2nd Jan (Bank Hol).

Sky will want a couple of games on New Years Day so they move a couple to the 1st, then anyone affected has their 2nd Jan game bumped back to a night game on 3rd Jan (with potential to put another one on TV)

I bloody hope not as I have already stuck a holiday in for the game and I'm down to work New Years Day...I would have a hell of a lot of trouble getting that one covered...
